I didn't realize that I was missing the bushings for the frame side of the shackles until last night... They should be here by tomorrow (thank you amazon lol), but in the mean time I kept throwing parts back on.

Well, Amazon showed up with the frame bushings right when I thought I was finished lol. Got the bushings and shocks mounted up so that way I can really call it done! All that’s left in the rear is mounting the bump stops and checking to see if they need to be dropped.

She’s a riot to drive compared to my other cars haha. The cluster isn’t lighting up and it’s impossible to read the gauges like that, so I need to figure it out before the next run.

First fuel up since '97

I figured out the dimmer switch wasn’t making contact to turn on the cluster lights. Serious question, is this really max output? This is all I’m getting and I can hardly read the needles in person. It actually looks better in the pic below lol

There is a hack that has been written about where folks have gone into their instrument panels and removed a baffle to improve lighting. Additionally, you may want to consider a LED upgrade. Sorry that I don't have the links for you but both may me found by using the search function. Great build by the way.

Thanks! I came across the same info and may convert the bulbs to led versus removing the shields.

I did LED and mine are just right now. Not bright, but bright enough. Like yours, this pic makes them look brighter than they really are. Rotating the LIGHTS knob makes a difference too.

Thank you! It's funny how much I disliked the Tiger stripes, but totally dig them now 😆 I will be doing the same led cluster bulb swap, without drilling out the shield rivets. What radio are you running? Mine is shot and I was thinking of ordering the retrosound bluetooth head unit.

I just wrapped up the rear refresh. I stripped the frame down and refinished it with steelit. After that the bumperettes were re-installed along with new oem taillight lenses & gaskets.

One last thing was swapping the shock resi’s so that they no longer cross each other.

First wash! The paint has a slight haze that needs to be buffed out, but my detailer buddy will handle that soon. I took off the haze on the wheels with a cutting compound and ceramic detailing spray. They looked good enough to pop the new oem hub caps on, that way I can see what I was envisioning from the start!

Thank you! I appreciate it, and I’m glad you guys got to see it progress along the way with me.

At the moment I’m in limbo trying to get it registered. The tags are due in Jan and if I pay now, I’ll get charged again in Jan (CA 😡). So it will have to sit around until then, because the current registration is set to non-op.

I plan to re-focus my efforts on finishing up my LT250R restoration. If anyone is interested in seeing that, let me know!
