I saw that cover in one of your earlier posts...Nice :bounce:

Funny, i have some similar holes in my very fancy aftermarket extremely desirable valve cover...
And the 2 hardlines what fit would not look good

The 1st pc with the single elbow. do you recall what that is off of?

Oh, that old thing? Ty.
Found it at a PMC swap meet for 20 bucks.
I think that after installing it i increased my Pig's value by 6 bucks. The horsepower and mileage gains are secondary.

Doing what I can for now. Pulled the passenger seat, tank cover, evaporator cover and dropped the skid plate. Realized I don't have a throttle cable sitting in my pile O' parts. Called the vendor and got the "backorder shuffle".

Mule is getting a little crusty, a bath and a sheep dip via some fluid film is in order.

The first pic is a line that uses the side cover bolts, and probably some spacers, but clears the 60 dizzy. Is your DUM taller?
Where does the upper hose, fan side, go to on yours?

Edit:don't give yourself too much credit. I'm probably ignoranter, older and blinder

Yes, taller and a larger circumference (IE Uber Mellon). As I install the new Dizz, I'll send you a pic.

I am a huge fan of the barter system. If you are so inclined. and we come to a trade agreement, I'll send you a quart-ish of some "Preston Co Branch Water" as suitable payment. It's good for sipping or parts cleaning dependent on your need.

I'm never in much of a hurry for anything anymore, so it may be a few days before I can get to it. I'm going on six years or so on a carb swap.

And I've some pressing business with a covey of unruly and rowdy Chukar tomorrow, some birds just don't understand the pecking order. But, I will get back with you..!!

this is a pic of the original routing. I may be making much ado about nothing but I don't think I have room at the original mounting points.

No birds will be harmed during the day's activities. Rain delay.

You won't, unfortunately.

Worst part about DUI ignition.

I figured as much.

Just trying to keep a certain amount of the Mule intact. It's getting a little "Borg" like. Good news is, at some point in the future, a new owner is going to have a pile of parts to sort through and a new thread called "I bought an FJ 40 and the PO was a lunatic"...<<<(Insert word/phrase of choice- Moron, Nuts, Crack Head, Had a Diamond Plate Fetish, Unstable, Of Questionable Birth, Of Undetermined Parental Lineage, Fancied Women's Lingerie, or worst of all - Probably a trout fisherman..

I did get notice that the Man in Brown is inbound on a final vector...Better go mark the LZ. :bounce:
