Very nice work. I'm not sure if it's my computer but the older pictures on the thread are not showing up. Would love to see them.

did a little more work this weekend.
removed the bottom leaf on the springs to get it to sit a bit lower. got it 1" lower so it now fits under the carport easy. before i had to put a strap on the axle to the frame to suck it down some.
still working on the wiring and lighting. i usually use led bulb replacments but on this one i decided to go a bit different and use the 3/4" leds that truckers use. these things are bright and work great for the marker lights.
i started off with the side marker and cut off the bulb holder. then used a unibit to open up the hole to 3/4". it was almost that size allready so it was easy to get it the rest of the way.

and installed. just pop the grommet then the light and boom. nice super bright LED light. should last forever and doesnt draw much power.

also still working on the fuel cell mount. made this simple bracket out of some SS that i had laying and added some dimples as i just love them

could you post a link on what that light would be called or where you got it? that is slick! or maybe even a web address... thanks!

and woot, i am now a proud new member of the HOA board :D :p

and those lights are these. just search ebay

Maxxima 3/4" Side Marker light LED
they come in either clear plastic or colored to match the color of led. maxxima was the orginal maker but now they have knockoffs.

drove the fj around the block, feels good to get it out and driving around. :D still lots to do but nice to get it out.
wired up the front marker lights. decided to add in an extra light for a side repeater. hopfully will help people see me when i have my turn signal on.
anybody know where to buy just the rubber gromit part for the stock FJ lights? mine are all rotten.

also finished up the exhaust hangers. simple stainless bracket that bolts to the xmember that has a rod attached. then some nice green exhaust hangers :D

no idea on the paint. probably just flat green like it is. its a wheeler so no point and doing a nice paint job. almost all the brackets were cut with either a sawsaz or 4.5" angle grinder with a cut off wheel.

still dealing with all the little stuff. but decided to drive it around the block a few times to see how it runs.
