Badass build, very nice package. I respect the tasteful, well thought out resto-mod/updated FJ40. I just drove a few hundred miles with my '74/3B diesel/H55 - no drama, just a comfortable drive.

Cool stuff! Are you going with something other than the ‘66 axles with that torque?

Have you placed your motor yet? The one I'm building for a customer is challenging - the NV4500 plus split case combo is 4.5" longer than an H55/split case. I'm looking at serious mods to the tunnel cover and floor pan to make it all fit. I've got the motor back quite a bit to make room for an intercooler/condenser/rad/fan cooling pack and pushed up pretty high to optimize clearance to the 3rd member. We're actually debating going back to an H55 because of all the sheet metal mods it will entail to make it fit and clear.

Hey Doug ... saw you started a thread, so I'll be watching closely
yes this is the one thing we are trying to wrap our heads around, I'll be getting the body back soon and we will start fitting

Cheers

I'm sure I can make a tour, I was thinking between that blue and the heritage blue for my blue. The 2.8r combo is going to be amazing, really interested on how that drives.

Color looks great!
