Thanks Tucker...I have the hole under those diagonal holes for the front of the running board...Are running boards generally black or body color? I was thinking of doing mine in silver like the bumpers....?

3I'm pretty sure they're not factory holes...just wondering what could be on both the fenders at the rear with that bolt pattern....
I'm not sure what goes in between but I was going to look for some rubber material. I
On all/most? of the items I've installed on the "painted" surfaces I've used rubber/gaskets/etc. between the assemblies...(hood latches, bib hinge, windshield latches, emblems, etc.)
I wanted something to use on the bezel as well....I ended up using "door guards" sold at your friendly local auto part store....available in black, chrome, clear, or.....heaven forbid...gold...
Looks nice. The way toyota did it was there are rubber donut bumpers that go between the bezel and the bib. It keeps the bib several mm off the bib so they don't rub. They are still available from the dealer. I used some nylon washers on the bolts to keep the bezel from losing paint as the bezel is installed.
