I could hand walk the DUI over to Performance to be converted.

My 62 axles wouldn't work for this application, right?Pretty much just a drivetrain refresh. The 1f runs and has good compression but leaks from every seal. It has a Weber 32/36 on it and want to swap back to Aisin carb. I would like to swap in later model axles to get disc brakes and the fine spline shafts so I can re-gear possibly. Lastly I want power steering.

I think everything will work except the housing and the long side inner. What year is the 40 again? My 62 axles wouldn't work for this application, right?
CCOT sells bezels. Cheap.
@Texican might have what you need.Looking for a 40 hood and grill/bezel...they don't have to be from the same year or same truck or even match. Surface rust is fine, but not looking for anything that's been eaten through.
Would prefer non-split hood and round bezel...so something post '71 ish on the hood and pre '79 ish on the grill/bezel.
Thanks!

I know most of us are aware of what these guys are producing, but here's an interesting article on their newest offering. Better go ahead and get on the waiting list now and avoid the rush:

^^^THIS!!!!!!!!!!!That truck appeals to me absolutely zero. While I appreciate well done custom work that is just silly.
I’d rather have 20 $10,000 Cruisers

Just wanted to put this here first. I have the 2f that came out of my truck when we did the motor swap. The motor was weak but running fine at that time. The compression across all cylinders were between 110 - 115 lbs. If anyone wants it give me a call $ 500.00 obo
