3FE exhaust manifold on carb'd 2F head

seen about 4 posts stating it is do-able, even refrence to a Toyota Trails article on the mod, can anyone confirm that even with some grinding the 3FE exhausts will mate to a 2F head with a 2F intake and carb? Thank you

Yes. Big Gay has a set on it. You have to remove a small amount of the manifold where they touch but nothing that causes a problem.

pablos poor toes!


the modified FJ62 exhaust manifolds go onto the 2F today, along with the modified 2F intake. all three pieces have been MILLED- not sanded, for flatness and the mounting ear thicknesses are within about 5 thousandths of each other.
