I just got these on today.

BFG lists them as 36.38" and 13.6" on a 9.5" wheel.

Mounted on the truck on stock rims (8" I think), at street pressure they are 35.75" tall and 13" wide.

That is how big my 37" Krawlers on 9" rims were....they are just a bit wider than my Krawlers.

I twisted it up and it was too dark for photos, but the lift is perfect but the tire diameter is going to get into the mudflaps. I need to get in there with a die grinder and trim up the flap and it will be A-OK

I think if I were starting from scratch a "J" in the front and heavies in the rear would be perfect for these tires.

Monsters... just out of curiosity, what gears are you running?

Looks sweet! How's it drive? Are you re-geared?

I really cruise in my 80. I never run it up in RPMs so around town they feel normal. The speedo is 10 mph off and the RPM's are much lower at my usual highway speed.

If money were no object a set of gears would be nice to have but the way I use this truck I cannot see the need. Even if I went into the axles to upgrade the axles and such I think I would save that money.

These trucks are not fast and they are not hard-core rockcrawlers so I think the gearing is good.

They are quiet because they are new. They also track nicely. My caster is off now that I have the spacers on there and just the OME caster correction but that really is just showing up when I brake hard. I wants to pull to the left or right more that it did in the past.

my pants got bigger all of a sudden!

Lookin' sweet Nolen, but I liked your FJ40s better. You must be getting old. :D

Older and wiser.....I doubt I will ever "build" a 40 again....but then again, who knows.

Great hearing from you Pin Head.

I have the same standard ome shocks with a similar spring and spacer setup. Downtravel sucks.

looks good. i plan on moving to the setup you were mentioning. Js in the front Heavies in the rear...

Mine rub out slightly on the rear frame rail and on the inside fender. thinking 850J up front 863 rear...that or clear it all with frankies lift...

Both sets of shocks are not maxed out with my stock sway bars. The sway bars are what are limiting my downtravel, not the shocks.

If I was looking for a ramp champ, I would do L shocks in the front and lengthen all of my sway bars.

The rear shocks are more than long enough with or without the swaybar.

Here is is RPM wise on the road. Speedo shows 51mph, GPS shows 60 mph.

RPMs are 1800-1900. Pulls just fine without lugging in OD.

Our tires look very similar in size.

Have you put a level and a tape measure on yours?

The fog lights are PIAA yellow fogs. They work great and project a mild beam. I run them at night, they are on a factory Toyota fog lamp switch in front of the shifter.

I can run them and I never get flashed by other drivers.

Legal? No clue but this truck was in TX with these lights for 8 years with no issues.

The big lights are VisionX HID's. They are BRIGHT!! I got them from Rock And Roll Offroad Store. in Bedford, TX.
