Yes it is. Up against the frame as high as it would go. Slightly higher than the rear bumper.

Now I need space for a front axle CV in a PVC pipe.

What's the diameter of your tank (about). SCUBA tanks are 7-1/4" O.D.
So I'm wondering if I can tuck that up under there also?

Just the CV or the axle also. If it's both, are the axles equal and swap-able, e.g. left or right?
If you're just referring to CV's, I know they are the same on both sides, but I've never looked at the axles.

Found it: 6.1" O.D.
So, I'm hoping it fits under there and doesn't hang down. There's a wee bit of difference between bursting an aluminum 120 psi tank vs. 2300 pis SCUBA tank if I bang it on a rock.

Day to day I have the NOCO dual battery charger that keeps my AGM batteries topped up and happy. The house battery is always topped up by solar or the Redarc BCDC but the start battery on longer trips won’t see a full charge as the alternator wasn’t designed to charge a AGM battery at voltage required. Realizing this on my trip to Death Valley last year I needed to figure something out. A tradition solar controller was the first option. Victron was my first thought but they are not IP67 or better rated and under hood mounting location is where I wanted to install it. Renogy make a PWM solar controller that is IP67 rated fairly inexpensive but it’s a lot bigger than I would like.
Fortunately Redarc came out with the Solar Regulator last summer. It works similarly to a solar controller but is much smaller than the Renogy and IP67 rated. Hook up is simple, solar blanket attached via Anderson plug and Anderson plug and clamps on the battery terminals. It could be hard wired to the battery as well. Now on longer trips once in camp I can top off the AGM start battery.

I’ve been wanting to cut the resonator off for months but needed my air system completed first. Ben Richards Fabrication in Burlington WA did and outstanding job bending up a piece of 409 stainless into a tailpipe and using factory hanger location to stabilize it.
I’m going the other direction. I’m putting my factory muffler back on and will be looking to sell the magnaflow. I think I prefer absolute silence, because it isn’t a sports car. So I’ll also will be cutting or paying someone to cut my rubbing boards and will insulate the s*** outta the inside.

With all due respect I just can't figure out why people want a louder vehicle for going into places where you don't want to be scaring off all the wild life that one has built their rig to see. I get it, I too love the sound of a healthy V8, I had a Chevy Vega that I dropped a V8 into (and some other hot rod's I've had) and for a while I ran it un-corked (straight headers). It was b!tch3n (to coin an old phrase). But for me and ours, we really enjoy the great sound system while rolling down the highway and the quiet of slowly meandering down trails.I’m going the other direction. Don't get me wrong, I still love the sound of a healthy V8, or even more so, a nice Ferrari, Maserati or other European 8 or 12 cylinder sports car. One of the perks of being able to go home from work via the coast highway through Newport Beach. Lots of exotics, especially on warm, sunny days.

No sports car noise. 69db at the tailpipe. Need to conduct highway testing. I think you both missed the point of this modification. At highway speeds (70+) before resonator removal I measured 75 db in cabin, drivers position. Yes aggressive A/Ts, roof rack and a hoop front bumper will disrupt your air flow and raise the noise level. Unfortunately after removal I had several phone calls to conduct and was unable to measure noise levels.
With that being stated I didn’t notice an increase in sound (noise) levels. I will be heading to AZ soon to thoroughly test this for noise levels and clearance.
Man, those Anderson Plugs are way overkill for a 10A Solar controller. Install looks clean though.
I've gone with an all inside setup myself, 20W panel that I can put in the windshield, attached to a standard charge controller and then I built a custom cable to go into the OBD2 port for charging/maintaining the battery.
I didn't want to worry about weather/elements or anyone else being able to mess with my setup.

The regulator comes with the Anderson plugs as it matches what Redarc sells attached for there panels. My Overland Solar blanker has the same as well.
I have a fixed 100 watt panel on the roof rack that maintains the house battery while on the road. The 100 watt panel charges through the Redarc BCDC.

I adapted the fuel can holders from my old Tacoma rear bumper to the LFD rear bumper but the clamp for the fuel can holder didn’t work with the new Scepter fuel cans. I bent up a piece of 1/8” aluminum for a big trip coming up. This is V 1.0. I’ll be refining it on V 2.0 after my trip.
Of course I had to decorate it with stickers!!

Sheesh, the Magnaflow is not THAT loud... you only really hear it on acceleration, at cruise you don't hear it unless you concentrate on it. I ride trails with the windows down whenever dust conditions permit, and exhaust noise just isn't an issue, just a mellow throb when you use the accelerator.
