A few night time pictures of the kitchen lights. The lights have a soft warm light not harsh and blue like some. When the table in the stowed position they provide great lighting to the drawer system.

Wow! That is looking like a very slick system you have!
Question: I see the plates, utensils on the left, but what do you have stowed in the right door compartment?

Thanks.

In the grey bag is forks, spoons, butter knives, pan scraper, sponge and scrub pad. Behind the gray bag is the Snow Peak knife/cutting board, a package of sanitizer wipes, and above that a lighter.

A bit more clarity with this picture.

Again, very nice!
If I make one suggestion, get a sheet of polypropylene, about a 1/4" thick or whatever the depth of your drop down table is.
Have the thickness be just a wee bit lower than the stainless steel lip so carrots or anything round will not roll off. Then cut a couple 1" holes for finger grips to pull it out of the stainless steel inset.
Polypropylene is the same material that is used for cutting boards. It makes for a great cutting board (I know you have one already, but...) and does not absorb odors, easy to clean, especially since you can just pull it out of the table inset. It'll be great for making sandwiches, large cutting projects like cleaning fish, etc.
I just took a wild guess on dimensions for thickness and area for this:

I fitted up snow chains today. I had two sets from my Taco running two different tire sizes over the years.

I thought most everyone used cables these days?
And chains were for the huge tires, tractor trailers, construction and big stuff like that.

Wow, chains on the drive tires. No issues with clearance?

Nope, no clearance issues at all. Cables are not durable enough. I’ve used these on my Taco and the GX.

In the PNW we have massive temperature swings in the elevations we can get to. That is a freeze thaw cycle and ice builds up. Chains are the way to go. Essentially running forest service roads with 3-4’ of compacted snow and ice.

At least it was nice to be able to install them in the comfort of your garage and not on the side of a road sitting in slush and mud!

Every Fall I do this to refresh my installation skill set.

Have you felt the need for extended brake lines in the rear? Is it a concern or not something to worry about?

I asked the suspension supplier about it and checked it after installation by cycling the suspension. No issues with the factory brake lines and parking brake cables.

When my suspension and all was finished, I too asked that same question because on my first overland project, I did need to extend all the brake lines. I replaced them all with stainless steel lines and it helped stiffen up the pedal feel a little.
I was told that for what I had, 2.5"-3" suspenion lift, we (GX owners) are fine with the factory brake lines.

When I get closer in milage to a brake system flush/fill I'll swap them for braided steel lines, at least in the front.

Nice set of chains. I have a set for all 4 tires but haven't needed to use them.

What brand are those? I like that they only need one small rubber bungee.

I've torn up cable chains before on SUVs....never again.

I bought them here. They are pretty easy to install. I don't deploy them until I really need them usually to get out.

I installed the Element fire extinguishers, I just didn't have space for a 5 lbs bottle. The Element is supposed to last longer than the 5 lbs bottle. Hopefully never need to find out!

One in the driver door pocket the other in the aft storage cubby by the rear door.

Have you used one before, I bought mine awhile back but I’m unsure how well it works I’m real life

it is a lot better than carrying around a large bottle, for sure and I like the specs

I have mine mounted on the Molle panel in the back, at camp the door is almost always open and makes a quick grab similar to yours

I do need something up front when I’m driving, did you screw the extinguisher mount into the door or just chuck it into the pocket

A bunch of us from Capital Land Cruiser ordered a larger shipment and recently got them delivered across the membership. They seem to be legit and someone had to use one recently at a recent off-road event for a carburetor fire. I wasn't there for it, but everyone said it worked like a charm and didn't leave any residue. They were sold after that experience.
