Love seeing all those RTT's!

It’s getting closer! LFD sent me a picture today of my rear bumper making it’s way through production.

Supper foggy day on the hill, good to be a pass holder and not feel guilty on bailing out mid day.

Flushed brake fluid yesterday, part of the 30k service.

Organized the center console with leftover Trek Pack. I really like working with that product. Found my old fixed blade Benchmade, use to have it zip tied to the Taco seat rail. When I sold the Taco it got tossed in a storage bag. What is old is new again! Stitched a bit of Velcro to the sheath for extra support and zip tied it to the driver assist handle.

With stitching like that, I don't think you'll be working for Prada, Versace, Calvin Klein or Givenchy anytime soon.

It ain't pretty but it sure is durable! Great field tool as well, its a Speedy Stitcher great for repairing cloth equipment, boots, RTTs etc. I do need to purchase some black waxed thread though.

If you really want strong, use Kevlar thread. If you buy a spool for your one-off projects, just keep the rest of the spool in your rig as an all and everything survival tool!
You can't beat the pounds strength per diameter of thread nor the heat resistance! I've been advocating using/having Kevlar thread in survival kits for years! It can be used for anything from fishing line, cooking, stringing up food from bears/scavengers, repair, first-aid, and the list is endless.

Been working on organizing the drivers seat back storage, what and where. Started ordering Velcro patches for the pockets I knew would be permanent locations.

The bag, or hanging storage is from Last US Bag, they manufacture in Vancouver WA are US made and up cycle there waste material to other products.

My particular storage unit is the Cady. It replaces the two Blue Ridge OverLand Gear MOLLE panels and bags I had in my Taco. Far more storage than the MOLLE panels, centrally located on one seat back and so far better quality.

Prior to traveling to Namibia in the fall of 2019 I paid a visit to LUSB. I ended up with a bunch of bags for the trip. They held up well!

I wrote a review of the products I use, if interested I could post it here.

Where did you get all the label patches?

Amazon, a company that stitches them in Wisconsin I believe. Let me see what I can find.

Working on a dust light/back up/FU light bracket. The goal is to use factory spoiler mounting fasteners. Still some work to do.

Glass won’t make contact when you raise it with the push button?
The spoiler is mounted to the glass and trim at the top. The light will move with the glass.

I will use it less once I get my rear bumper. Just to easy to chuck groceries in the back seat.
