I don't think it looks terrible. More of a logical progression from the current LX. The interior does look fantastic (for a mall cruiser)

I always thought it would be cool if a manufacturer made a limited run of a (somewhat) iconic older car. Imagine a brand new LC60 or even 3rd gen 4Runner with updated drive trains. I'm sure they have warehouses full of parts to choose from.

I've already seen 2 V8 conversions with the 80! One was a LS1 engine swap and, the other was a 5.7L V8!

One of these days, I'll get a 80 and, put the 100 series engine in! Let's just say, the 5.7L V8 is so fun on our 100, it's been pulled over many times for speeding (once my mother went 100 MPH in a 35!)
