You're replacing the whole rack? Not just the bushings?
Yes. The Rack is $650. SuperPro bushings are $175 (not available OEM). Labor is slightly more for just replacing the bushings, so there's only $310 difference. I'd rather have a new steering rack on an 11 year old vehicle than SuperPro bushings. I'll only own this for another 1-3 years.

Wild that the bushings aren't available from Toyota. I wonder if it's the same story with the tundra rack.

I know 3-4 people that have replaced racks on Tundras (same part #) thinking they Ivan Stewart and theirs came with new bushings
 
Awesome list. Will bookmark this since I guess I should do this at least next year when I get the new tires (if(!) we get the KO3s next year in Europe) will probably do it together with fresh back covers for the brakes since mine are like ~30 gone to the god of rust. They will probably the most expensive part if I even beeing able to get them

Not sure about rod ends

I only know this because I had a set of energy suspension bushings for mine but after finding out how much work it was to install them I didn’t bother and threw them in garage

Gave them to a friend but told me he didn’t need them because his rack came with them

Will try to verify. Was about 2 years ago

@Boston Mangler, No, I don't have them yet. Waiting for Cyber monday to get 25% off. FWIW I talked to Larry H. Miller Toyota parts in SLC, UT today and they said yes, they are participating in the sale and that it will be 25% off their already discounted online pricing. Toyota corporate is sending out a bunch of incentives for them to do so.

The part number encompasses everything in the boxed area, including bushings and tie rod ends, but not the castle nut and pins. There's a note in the diagram that indicates the bushings are "not supplied as an individual part, because it is hard to assemble/disassemble due to the structure".

@ExpeditionMan I just did all four shocks and LCAs on my 2013 LX570. Here's my parts list. Are you referring to the lower shock bushing mounts? Are you looking to replace them with Poly or something? I can't say for sure about that specific part, but the rest of the shock assembly and mounts are NOT interchangeable with the LC200, so I wouldn't think so.

You'll want to remove the exhaust pipe and muffler, thus the new gasket and clamp. Make sure you get all new LCA cam bolts and be prepared to cut your old LCA's out. These bolts are a high corrosion item and often freeze up. You'll have to fully bleed the AHC system for a shock replacement, so consider replacing your accumulator globes at the same time if not already done (they have about a 10-year lifespan and are easy to do). Source your globes from ebay (2x 4915160020 and 2x 4914160020). I got mine for $477. Just make sure they are genuine OEM and not the knockoffs you'll also see there. You'll need 7.5L of AHC fluid (08886-01805) for the full job. If you want to throw in spacers while you have everything apart the number is 43136-60020 for the front. There are aftermarket options for the rear springs (I got my SuperPros from Cruiser Outfitters--Rear Coil Spacers 15mm SUS200R15).

Partsouq often has the most competitive pricing as well, but definitely shop around for each item. I've come across some things on their site that are MORE than I can get locally. Shop Toyota Parts websites before Lexus as Lexus is ALWAYS higher priced for the same part number. Most Toyota dealerships now have an online parts store that offer parts at deeply discounted prices, so check your Local Toyota dealers online shop first to avoid shipping charges. If I'm trying to just replace a lot of the old rubber in my 2015 front suspension, are items like the swaybar links, swaybar bushings, and swaybar cushions a good start? What else should I consider to target potential squeaking? Upper and lower (front) control arms seem fine-ish.

From my personal experience and what I've seen in the threads, the bushings that usually fail first are the front lower control arms, then rear lower control arms, and then to a lesser degree the lower shock bushings. The lateral control arms, F/R stabilizer bars, and upper control arm bushings I think tend to last longer. The stabilizer link arm bushings and cushions on the links weren't terrible on my rig, but the link and cushion are relatively cheap and I had everything disassembled anyway so I replaced those.

I was interested in polypro bushings but the parts and labor to press new bushings (which I can't do myself) exceeded the cost of just buying whole new parts (arms, links, bars) and replacing them myself. The OEM parts for the LC200 are more often than not more durable than aftermarket anyway.
