I wonder if you could put even mount an ARB Bull Bar..given that you normally have to trim the bumper all the way across to fit.
I also live close to 6,000ft and drive a lot above 10,000ft. The LC is not underpowered by any means for the total package you're getting with this rig. The Infiniti is a a plastic joke off-road and looks like a rolling piece of suburb trash that wishes it was more like an Esclade. Most people who spend $80k on LC have more options in the garage for additional power. If I need more power to the mall, I either pullout my 13' ML63 s or 14' CLS63 s. Come on guys, we don't buy these LC for 0-60 times. We buy them because of their incredible reliability and do all go anywhere reputation. Mostly, I bought mine for camping, hiking, skiing and the occasional off-road trails which neither requires 400+hp 0-60 under 6.5sec.Well I do live at 6000 feet, so Im sure that slows it a bit.
Both Infiniti and the 200 have a lot of plastic. I have driven all of the Infiniti models, and everyone of them feels sportier and faster that what Toyota offers. To me they both are somewhat Escalade wannabees. For the price the 200 costs, I don't think another 50 to 100hp is asking too much. P.S the new Lexus front ends look like poo. Just buy a Range Rover or an Esclade if you're looking for style and function. I don't know anyone who spend $90k+ on an SUV and keeps it forever. They trade them in every 3-4yrs, so warranty on a Range or Esclade is no big deal.

I agree with you that the LC has a bit of plastic. I really dislike the fact that they don't use real wood on the interior. It could use better interior lighting as well. Really cheapens it for sure. The Infiniti is certainly has more sporty suspension system and better interior with more hp. They do pull the same weight however.
You can't compare a QX to an LC. Completely different vehicles. You can compare the QX to Lincoln, Cadillac as they are 1st one road and off-road being secondary. This group is more off-road 1st and on-road secondary-LC,G550,LR4, Range Rover and jeep. You will never see an Infinit trying to follow the LC off-road. When you mean it has more technology, are referring to the interior Bells and whistles? Because, no way does it have better off-road tech, and personally you don't want so much tech to go wrong while you're in the boondocks. To me, the least amount of "tech" the better for longevity and reliability. The big Infinti is for housewives and not anyone over 6ft. Very small cockpit!
The LX version has real wood on the interior, they have bamboo and they brag about it being a renewable resource and I think it looks nice. Its also expensive to replace if you scratch a piece lol. I haven't looked at the toyota version too much, and maybe that has fake wood. No I doubt the Infiniti has as good offroad tech. But I mentioned that Infiniti has variable valve lift-which is a cool technology and the 200 doesn't have that. Also Infiniti has had the birds eye system for years now-something that just now the 200 has this year. However Nissan tends to have more bugs with their software compared to Toyota. I guess I just think Toyota should have put a supercharger in the LX's, that would make it move awesome. And less plastic looking nobs, some stainless or aluminum switches instead would be great looking. And I think it should have stayed the size of the 100 to make it easier off road, instead of getting bigger.I agree with you that the LC has a bit of plastic. I never said the 200 didn't have vvti. Both Toyota and Infiniti have variable valve timing or vvti. I stated that infiniti has variable valve event lift or vvel. Toyota does not have vvel which is totally different from vvti.As we've stated before, this is false -- please stop posting it!
