Ditto.

Rig looks good. Did you take any pictures or can you tell me where you trimmed the rear bumper because I desperately need to trim mine. Or maybe I can give you a call and we can talk about how you did it and give me some details.
So I picked a point about 1.25 inches lower than the sensors. I then taped the f-ck out of it and put a mark every few inches where I measured down from the bumper for the rear. For the wings it gets a little weird. There are different vertical and diagnol measurements you can make, though.

I used a metabo grinder to rough cut and my Porter Cable mini belt sander a 2x14 one handed guy to clean it up.

Cheap door edge guard from autozone after you deburr the plastic.

Use PPE.

If you have an aversion to getting molten plastic on your arms wear long sleeves.

I use the same belt sander that one would use for cutting in cabinet panels to a wall so they match exactly. Carpentry for the win.

There are a few thjngs to watch out for. Some cabling in each corner and the actual metal part of the bumper. To tip is just watch your depth and take you time.

I can take a few more pictures of the back end this afternoon. If that would help. And the tools I used.

For wood shaping and fabrication, those mini beltsanders are amazing if you run mirka media.

Thank you. I could use pictures of up underneath mostly the area around where the mud flaps were. I'm not sure what to do with all that excess plastic and whatnot that's in those two areas on the quarter panels. Trimming just below the sensors work great since I have those strobes installed in the existing parking sensor holes.

Also, I'm using that grommet there on the driver side in the back for a bunch of wiring so that might get exposed if I start cutting off all that plastic by the mud flaps what do you think?

That i dont know, but should be fine. The truck is designed to get wet and dry out.

Good point. When ever you have time is love to see underneath where the mudflaps were so I have an idea how to address that area.

I added them to the following post. I did rip one off wheeling, apparently. My truck is retired from DD duty and is my wheeling rig now, since I bought a beater shi-vic.

Thank you brother. Does the bumper flop around when you drive for removing some of that bracing?
