ha! I love the moronic comeback when half of the OP's updates are 'sad' face about spending house budget $ on tires, selling stock to light money on fire for an autozone radiator so you can hit some muddy fire roads, and constant brake changes due to slamming on the brakes at red lights?

you do you dawg, keep up those apartment parking lot mods

should have known that would be your response once I saw the badge change.

I sure do love ignore. 😂

Apparently I am still stuck on Space Ball One.

Just under $5500 with the following complete:
Resealed Valley Cover/plate
Resealed Timing Cover
New water pump
New spark plugs
New Serpentine belt
Transmission drain and fill
Oil change
Chassis lube

Original quote was 7500 and revised quote was 6000.

So gald to be out of the RX and back in my truck. The RX feels like a civic in comparison. My truck is so much quieter with much better handling dynamics from my perspective.
The 2025 was significantly more comfortable then the 2024 RX350H. But I wouldn't consider either for what they are getting.

They do have good power, they do handle well in the canyons and on gravel. They get great gas mileage and the Lane Keep Assist in the 2025 is so good you can leave your hands off for over 15 minutes at a time. Almost autopilot.

You didn't have have to give up your first born male child to pay for that did ya?

How many miles do you have? Was your water pump and or timing cover leaking? Knock on wood at 192k miles I don't have these issues ... yet. LOL

I am at 132k. It developed an oil leak that I had attributed to me not turning the oil filter cap all the way, it was down about a half quart to a quarter at about 4k miles after the last oil change.

This is probably all fallout from the radiator failure which probably allowed things to get warmer than they should and causing sealant failure. But that's just a wild ass guess and isn't derived from any data points.

My water pump was not leaking, but had to be removed. It looked ok-ish as did the serpentine belt and the plugs but all new for piece of mind. Should be good for at least another 130k.

I do have ro address the right rear brake caliper and replace the green stuff pads, they are toast.

Inhave a set of EBC ED+ pads, brembo blank rotors and mudify extended stainless steel lined brake lines. Already using Motul 5.1

Gotcha. Did you replace the thermostat too? Not listed but thought I'd ask. While my water pump and thermostat are a-ok I plan on going ahead and replacing them within the next 12 months. With that service should I tackle the timing cover at the same time? I'm halfway through my preventative maintenance to get ahead of any of the usual high mileage issues. Already had the valley plate gasket thing done as well as the radiator and alternator.

I still have original shocks, CV boots/ axles, tie rods, wheel bearings, and bushings. All of which are also a-ok. But those will start to get done over the next couple years.

I will need to look, I have the parts list. If not, I will probably have them do it at the next dealer visit. I am going to alternate oil changes so the dealer will see it about once every 6 months and I will do the intermediate service.

Thermostat appear to not have been done either time. Folks have been super thorough so I will ask at next service and follow whatever they recommend.

I got one of the treaty oak recovery points installed. The other one has some grumpy threads so I requested a replacement.

Rear EBC greenstuff pads are metal on metal. Was hoping i had a few more days.

I did not.

Bummer.

I had already ordered 2 new rotors, ED+ pads and replacement caliper for the right side and hoses.

Will get it slammed out Thursday and Friday night for a trail ride on Saturday.

Was surprised this weekend while doing the tire rotation. I expected my fronts to be shot as they had been getting noisier. Measured over 8mm (front) and 6mm (rear) at around 18k miles. Guess I've got some more time on them. Pads were Power Stop Z36 series. Don't know how they compare to the EBCs for now.

I wouldn't recommend the green if you drive aggressively. I will post updates on the ED+ Brembo blank pairing.

I did not replace the front rotors when I glazed the other pads.

Right rear caliper is replaced, have a new brembo blank and ED+ pads.

Probably not fair to hate on the green stuff pads too much considering a sticky caliper was a significant factor. Going to do the other side this weekend as it is not metal on metal with a leaky caliper like the passenger side was.

And I am lazy.

Very lazy.

I bought a Metabo grinder at Lowes that was on sale. Going to do my pinch weld and cut my body mounts soon.

Yep but I am cheap before I am lazy.

(I enjoy being a contrarian from time to time, as well)

My fan shroud is cracked. Moved it around a bit so it's not contacting the fan. Will come up with a more permanent fix in a bit.

Considering removing my spacers. With both rows out I have some serious positive rake and its noticeably worse in the crosswinds.

I think i would be fine with the about 1" or so you gain from removing both rows.

Curious, what are your thoughts for removing the spacers? Why both rows?

I had to pull out the second row to move some things and I dont want to put it back in, for multiple reasons.

Even with it in, it has some rake since I did the third row delete. I underestimated it's weight. I just moved the third row, as I still have it, and woof.

I have only had people in the second row twice or three times, since buying it in July of 2021.
