You want to caravan? We are leaving Seattle Thursday. We go through Bend Oregon > K falls > Susanville > Reno

very cool! i was hoping you'd be able to make it. your bro is more than welcome to attend. just make sure he's wearing a flame suit. he might catch some crap about brining a jeep but it'll be friendly razzing at worst. ;p
 
UPDATE things are coming together and its beyond crunch time. My son Will is cleaning and helping me take care of the small things Mark is working on the steering box and georg Thank You . the last thing i would like to do is the exaust because it kind of hangs below the frame but we will see as long as its a solid runner were cool we cant wait to get up there. Rob & Will

I think we are going to miss Y streaka! We will probably go through Bend Oregon and on to Reno..Backside baby. I will be there Friday though..

Mike the truck looks great..I can envision your s*** eating grin once you put the bed on it..

We were thinking I-5 to Springfield or Roseberg, with a detour to Crater Lake (Join us?). Then merge onto your your route between Bend and Kalamath.

How far are you trying to get on Thurs.?

I was thinking of stopping at K Falls or Susanville, let me know if you got a good little motel spot on the way.

Virginia will be in the FJC with kids and CB, and we will have a two way. Let me know what channel and she can play operator.

I was thinking 'bout bringing a case of top shelf Micro Brews, any requests? ( I prefer really good and rum & tequilla, so we'll have our own stash.)

Does everyone want to try and meet in Susanville Ca on Thursday night? Stay the night and then head to the camp spot Friday and get all the good spots :)

What do you guys think?
 
Bull if you go through S/V stop and have breakfast at black bear diner.
 
Booked a room at Best Western Trailside Inn Susanville for Thurs. night. ( The Black Bear Diner is located at this hotel as well)

Probably arriving 8-9 pm, would like to depart around 9 the next morning, so 8 am for breakfast?

Also I am not sure of which campsite we are heading to, the earlier link listed 3, can anyone clarify for me?

To re-iterate: Black Bear Diner for Breakfast, Friday August 31 @ 8 am

couple of items i'd like to mention:

1) whoever gets there early, please make sure that i get the same camp site as last year. it worked out really well for the raffle. it's not the greatest site there so no worries guys......

2) please try to bring a small raffle prize. the more prizes we have, the more fun it'll be.

3) bring a little bit of cash for the cash raffle. tickets are $10 each. all the money goes in the pot and one winning ticket will be drawn. last year's pot was $700! :grinpimp:

4) i'm also trying to help raise money for the FOTR to help keep our trails open. i have already donated $150 and would like our event to be able to help out. the jeepers jamboree had 1500 attendees this year. they raised $1 per person. pathetic! i know we can beat that average by a mile! :cool:
