I feel like I'm losing my mind searching the database and this forum for the following information-Will 285/65/18 or 285/70/17 rub on stock without any modifications/trimming/chopping/etc. Wheel offset will either be +35 or +25. Thanks!
Two people on +25 and 285/70/17 both report minor plastic rubbing on stock suspension.

What offset would be best for a skinny 33? I'm thinking about a set of wildpeaks in LT255/80R17.

Edit: Looking at the Method 703 wheels, so the options are 0 or 35 offset. Would prefer to stay as close to factory geometry as possible and minimize rubbing.
Can't speak to this wheel and tire combo but I will say that I really loved my Wildpeaks in that size.

Our recently acquired 200 was on methods 703
17x8.5 +25 on 35s
We just switched to some rockwarriors with 1.25 spacers for the oem + look

The wheels are for sale by the way

Thinking about running 285/75/17 on Rock Warrior wheels on my stock 200. Any feedback on any trimming that I need to get done? Or if they fit no problems?

Just got new OEM shocks installed with the OEM 1/2" front spacers to level the height.

Thanks in advanced!
Bit of a necro-reply but I'm looking to do more or less exactly this. Did you ever do it ?

Had been wondering the same but haven't seen any pics.

Bookmarked this one of that size on some lower offset wheels, reportedly lots of trimming required as expected. I'd assume the RW's at +50 would be better for body rubbing, but potentially worse with KDSS interference.

Back at ih8mud! Almost 20 years on this forum, I missed it! I’ve had 80 series, 100, and now after 8 years with no LC I just got a 2011 LX!

First thing to do was to get rid of the 20’s! I might have kept them but the rig I bought had a fairly banged up wheel that I was surprised held air. So went with some 18’s and got an amazing deal on some on closeout on Tire Rack.

Went with 285/70/18 Kanati Terra Commander RTX. They were cheap and thought I would try them out (I’ll only put 5-7k miles on this a year). The wheels are 18x9 with a 30+ offset.

At first I went with a 1 1/2” spacer but the rubbing was worse than without the spacer! Without a spacer I get rubbing primarily only up front, so I’ll move the liner forward. No UCA rubbing, and with no spacer the tires stay within the wheel wells.

Here is with and without.

I might try a 1/2” spacer? What do you guys think?

Anybody have an idea on how long it takes for the AHC to even itself out after an AHC lift?

Mine is all wonky, takes a lot longer to get to the height selected, one side is lower than the other (I checked the bracket and they are all adjusted to the max). I heard it can take a bit for it to calibrate itself.

Mine never had that problem when sensor lifting it. Has any maintenance been done to the AHC system recently or lack thereof? Also, check to see what your reservoir level is at now that more fluid is sitting in the shocks in normal mode.

Vehicle is new to me, so I'll check on the fluid level for sure. Might need to add a bleed and new fluid to the list.

I am absolutely terrible at searching through this thread.

1) Is there an actual link to the google doc? I cannot locate it.

2) What is the biggest tire you can fit on the stock 20s with no rubbing?

Tried and true, stock suspension, RW’s, 285/70/17
One of the trucks I looked at last year when I was on the hunt was a 2020 HE. It had 30k miles, looked brand new, and was Toyota gold CPO at $70k. The only thing “wrong” with it was it was sitting on brand new RW’s instead of the gold OEM wheels. No one wanted it. It sat at Longo Toyota for 30 days so the last day of the month I went up there with a cashier’s check to buy it straight up. The salesman greeted me and took me out to the lot but couldn’t find the truck. Turns out the sales manager didn’t talk to his guys and know I was coming so he sent it to Manheim that morning to be wholesaled. I showed the manager the check, advised him of the mistake he’d made, and spent the rest of the day trying to find someone with a bidder’s license to buy it. I eventually gave up but I certainly do appreciate a 200 on RW’s.
