I had real good luck with Falcon Wildpeaks ATWs 285/70 LT ON 17” wheels 25 offset.
Prices on Falkens are over $300. I'm mostly looking at sizes 285/65/18 and stock (60 ratio). The K02's on my current wheels are LT275/65/18's so I could do that too I guess. Short list so far:

Yoko Geolandar G056
Tokyo Open Country (no idea about these, are they any good?)

Keep in mind BFG KO2s tended to run small. Not sure if that’s true with KO3s.

Don’t rule out whatever GY has in the DuraTrac line. Not sure about pricing, but if that’s a major concern, check out the Kelly Safari.

Yup. They're common second gen Tundra wheels: 5x150 lug pattern 18x8 +60, equivalent to the stock LC wheel spec. I don't much like the contrasting machined finish but I think they look great in solid colors.

I like this look. so it's the same spec as a stock 2016 Land Cruiser 18" wheel?

Didn't know they were making truck tires, if you have them what are your impressions? Mostly curious about handling, braking, noise....
Handling excellent
Braking excellent
Noise excellent, particularly for an rt

I had them on my old 5th Gen 4Runner in 35x10.5x17 and they were great!
-Good in snow/ rain
-Good everyday driver (quiet for a tire compared to AT)
-Awesome off road
-Awesome tire wear
*People were so impressed with the tire wear miles they switched to Kenda brand*

I now have them on my 2018 LC200 in a 275/80/18 and they are still great everywhere, just like I remember in the 4Runner. (They seem a little louder then in the 4Runner, but could be because the LC is quieter or because the lug spacing is a little more).

I bought my 275/70/18 Kenda Klever RT last Spring and paid $1080 for 5QTY.

*Some people who bought off my recommendation choose the AT, RT, and MT but they all say the same thing, these are lowkey better than most any other tire on the market.

No bmc here on 35x10.5x17. 35 offset rims.
I am assuming @pdavis49 has +0 offset which swings closer to the body mount I believe. I have some zero offsets that I’m set on I just need to decide on a tire size to pair them with. BMC isn’t the end of the world but it would be nice if I didn’t need to go get it done

No body mount chop necessary with a good alignment and communicating your concern to the shop thats doing it.

What's the prognosis on 275 width? i.e. optional sizes like 275/65/18, I noticed that's what's on the 2ndhand TRD Pro wheels I am running (K02's). I kind of like having the 65 and I think the difference between 275 & 285 would be trivial. 99% street driving.

I have 275/65r18 Michelin Defenders in P rated. Mostly on road use with some towing and mild off road. It is a decent size and I like the 275 width, but I think a taller tire than what I have looks better on the truck. But 275/70r18 (33”) mostly only comes in heavier LT rated tires requiring high psi, which for my uses are not necessary.

If you are set on getting KO2 or KO3, that only come in LT ratings, then my concern about 275/70r18 being only an LT tire is a moot point. But if you’re 99% on road, I think there are much better tires to buy, in P rated or iso-metric XL, that will be more comfortable, better braking, better mileage and better on road handling than the KO’s.

When it’s time for new tires I plan to get the Defenders again, but in 285/65r18 which are now available in a light XL rating. But the size change will be for looks, not for functionality.

love my 275. 37 k pleasurable miles, hard offroad, lots of towing toys, and some starbucks runs

i am going down go 255 when these tires hit replacement time

Other than one mention of it in the last ten pages, has anyone run a 285/70/18 on a stock LC? (stock wheels, OE spacer)
I know the 285/65/18 is the common "plus one" upgrade, along with the 275/70/18.
I see you can get a WildPeak A/T4W in Load Range C (I do not want E's) in that size.
On paper, a stock 285/60/18 is a 31.5x11.2, a 285/65/18 is a 32.6x11.2, a 275/70 is a 33.2x10.8, while a 285/70 is a 33.7x11.2

FINALLY getting rid of my spacers...seems like a personal pref issue, but any input on Method 705 vs Icon Vector 5 for a 2019 LC (lifted) that is in need of some Ozempic (she's more than "big boned")?
