When my 30mm rear spring spacers were installed some ~5 years ago, the bump stops needed some trimming in order for the spacer to slide over. I'm not 100% sure at this point, but I think I had gotten my spacers from Slee. This is on a 2014 LX.

They fit exactly the same as the OEM spacers do. I had issues because i bought new top hats and changed out the studs to the longer ones that came with my Temu4x4 20mm spacers. I had to push out one of the studs and push it in again to get it to sit squarely so the spacer would fit. But that was the stud not being installed strait's fault, I couldn't even get the top hat into the holes in the shock top of the truck frame.

Also, just for reference, i tested one of the spacers with the OEM studs and they worked. I think i posted some pictures of all that in one of these threads.

Long Travel AHC

From my understanding the TT springs for the 100 series was made for the 100 series and AHC. Which is why I went with that one. I don't think anyone has put non-AHC springs in an AHC 200 series. Will the other 4 different 200 series springs work with AHC? Not sure if they are willing but if you...

Not much chance of crowds, heat might be an issue that time of year. Fuel and plenty of water.

Tuweep campground has 10 sites and needs an NPS reservation. Not likely Instagram bros or riff-raff will get out there unless they are committed as it's 61 miles of dirt road that'll take 2:30-5 hr drive depending on vehicle, from an already remote trail head. I was able to get out there on the low end of that with tires at 15 PSI gliding over portions at freeway speeds. I can't imagine a passenger vehicle that will shake apart itself and occupants. Prius's also won't make the last few miles that have some minor shelfs to navigate. One couple I talked to got out there with a stock diesel truck and they looked beat up as I can't imagine that was a smooth ride. Most everyone I met at the campsite which was much more exclusive was retirees.

Got a new pair of shoes yesterday just in time for the Easter snowstorm. Someone already swiped my previously scratchless 2017 bumper in a parking lot, giving me the go-ahead to treat her like a proper cruiser.

I agree it may be a haul with a trailer unless it has great suspension and able to sustain higher speeds on unimproved roads.

My Airstream has no business offroad but works great as a basecamp left in town. I have the LX setup to host the family for 2-3 days offroad before I need to return to basecamp.

We have Tuweep CG reservations for mid May. Planning on dropping down from Kanab. Those campsites are going fast.

It’s fully independent, 33” ridge grapplers, big travel and higher clearance than my cruiser. But just because you can doesn’t mean you should. We’ll drag it over 3 rated trails if the destination warrants it. Regardless, I’m definitely going to be looking into this spot before making the call. This sounds like the type of place we are always looking for.
