I ran Red Cone last month and put together a quick video of what the trail looks like for those who haven't been able to run it. The trail was in great shape, and the views from the top were breathtaking as usual. I hoped to set up my phone to get video of the main obstacle early in the trail, but a bunch of vehicles including some side by sides came up fast behind me. I didn't want to hold them up, so I walked back afterwards and took video. Unfortunately I hear the main boulder in the middle of the trail has since been removed which is too bad since it was a good gatekeeper obstacle and a fun challenge.

Any modifications done to it or is it a standard M416 trailer?

I added 20” to the tongue and a bulldog hitch. Also I cut a tailgate into it. Other than that it’s stock. I made it an overland trailer and then missed having it to haul stuff so
I took all that crap off. It’s so handy to have.

I kinda have a trailer fetish but this one is the best…..

Looks nice, how did you mount it? Seems like all the up top weight would not be great on steep offroad trails, what's your experience? I've never had a RTT, so curious. It seems like it would be awesome if it's mainly mild trails, maybe not so much on the steeps? Just got back from Ouray in my fj55, don't think i would like an RRT on those trails - but, I've never had one so maybe i'm worried about something I don't need to be.

Less is better for sure. I have a 110* RTT and I can’t tell it’s up there on any of my trucks.

The old 175# bag tent i had though. Holy hell that extra weight was totally noticeable.

good to know. I think i'd like a batwing awning and a rooftop tent but I'd prob have to replace the factory rack to do that. Seems like by the time I get the right set-up it'd be a lot of weight. I don't like off camber trails on steep slopes already, that weight would amplify the uneasiness. Not to mention HWY manners.

The tent has a rail system and comes with brackets to mount to the roof rack. This is number 3 RTT. Has a soft Arb. The roost hard. And now this. It's just under 200 pounds with all my bedding and stuff in there. Can’t really tell it’s there unless strong winds definitely get blown around some. As for too heavy and trails. That has never been an issue. I’ve done some sketchy trail and never felt like I was going to flop.
