Great looking rig , where were the pics taken?

You can't run that trail and not do the staircase :D I didn't find any of the trails we ran in Sedona technical but did find you needed additional clearance on Broken Arrow. I really enjoyed that area and look forward to going back.

Super fun trail, I just did it for my 1st time last month. Same worries I had before but same story, didn’t even scrape a bumper or spin a tire. Did you do the staircase?

Stair Case: Completed

To answer about the Clearance: - I had no issues at all. I thought I would and that is why I put off running the trail for so long. No issue at all. I got out and checked each tricky area before driving. I think if i was to do it again i would not need to get out of the vehicle anymore. Now bear in mind that I have a LX570. We lift about 2 inches. So I did put the height up. I have a stock front and rear bumper. They did not scrape. I do not know what would happen if it was done with a non-lifted LC. I have seen youtube vids of people doing it in stock jeeps. sometimes I hear the scraping but usually they take a poor line on an obstacle.

I'm looking for some good Arizona trails up in the trees for the summer. I do the desert stuff in the winter. Anyone got any good runs they know of in Flagstaff, Grand Canyon or Rim Territory?

Finally don't have to worry about punctures, got the KO2'S!. ride is much stiffer tho.

Thanks to @Trollhole for the awesome offroad trailer and J. @trailtailor for making the Georgia Traverse trip a blast. The wife's 200 is almost finished.

One of the local groups I'm a member of (ExpeditionUtah.com) has a trail adoption on the Miller Hill 4x4 Trail in American Fork Canyon south of SLC. We do a few weekends worth of service up there each year and spent today installing some new signage along the route to help folks find their way up and down. It's a tighter (trees/rocks) trail than I would normally take the 200 up. It's just a lot of truck for the tight trails and switchbacks of this canyon BUT I had cargo this time in the form of a 7 yr-old and 11 yr-old. My nieces are in town from North Dakota and we wanted to get them camping outside of an improved campground. I think it was as educational of them as it was for me, fortunately my better half was there to help navigate the subjects I steered very clear from.

The roof rack became an instant place to hang. I can't blame them, I like hanging up there too :D

The new trail markers our group built/installed this weekend. That's the turnoff to a century old gravesite we rebuilt a few years back. Sits at ~10k ft just outside of SLC

A friend and I completed the GT back in 2015. It's a cool route, though I remember there being some route closures along the way.
We had a chainsaw, we had to cut and pull a few large trees outta the way

We had to cut two trees as well. The second one was fresh (probably fell the night prior to our arrival) and was a big sucker. Luckily some adventure bike guys showed up about midway through the removal and lent a few hands.

When I say closures, I mean the roads were gated and locked by the park service. The road that comes to mind is the one closest to Highlands, NC. We had to route through the town to bypass.

Gotcha. We had 1 gate closed. It was a great trip. We normally run our family trips out west in my troopy. I would recommend this trip any day.

Spotted this today. Im not much into 20”+ wheels and bling. The wheels are anodized magenta-ish color. Must be a body kit deal going on too. Funky

Uh, no. The 2015+ looks awful already and this body kit just added more to the mess.

It's like the lady who continues to get plastic surgery, each iteration just makes things worse.

“Camping” (“glamping”) at a KOA in Silt, CO. Along the Colorado River. WiFi. Cable TV (I’m watching the World Cup while I type this.). It’s pretty rough but I think I’ll survive. :hillbilly:

Towed the trailer over from Denver last week. Did great over the Eisenhower Tunnel then over Rabbit Ears Pass (camped at Stagecoach State Park near Steamboat Springs.

Glenwood Springs West KOA (actually in Silt, CO) along the Colorado River. Trailer is a 6000#, 27’ Lance 2285.
