Honestly, there are others here who can recommend a better shop, and who have far more expertise than me.
I'm actually having ETREME difficulty with the shop I took mine to. I have another appointment on Tuesday, where they plan to FIX their mistake...and put back the engine-bay mud guards they literally *threw away* by accident.

Sad part is... The same shop did a great job with my 100 series some years back...but they completely botched this one.

Ill have more perspective on the BP-51's once things are properly adjusted for preload, etc.

Thanks, hope everything turns out to your satisfaction and I'll be looking for your updated posts on the suspension mod once it's tuned properly. Did you ever consider performing the install yourself, or is that out of the scope and equipment requirements for basic home-garage mechanics? I was on the fence regarding self-installation of the components, but your post makes me reconsider (assuming one can find a qualified shop).

Reunited with my old 100 tonight. "Sold" it to my brother in law so it's never too far away. I've introduced another family to the addiction we all live. Cool thing is a mud member just gave me his old KOs for the 100 because he upgraded to KO2s. Good mud Karma coming LC Chris' way.

What color are those wheels painted on the 100?

The finish is called Shadow Chrome. I think it was first used by BMW on the e39 M5 and then the e46 M3. First pic. It's a three step process that my brother in laws shop, ProFormance, perfected because they were remanufacturing so many BMW wheels.
After the wheels are striped chemically they are powder Coated gloss black. In the second picture you can really see the black in the pockets. They then lay down a thin layer of liquid chrome paint. You can adjust where you lay the paint to create the shadows and how much you may down. The less you lay the darker the wheel. It's $800 a gallon. The wheels then get clear powder coated.
On the land cruiser wheels I used very little Liquid chrome and just a little more on my M5 wheels.
It's an awesome look. I was going to do my OEMs in this then they were stolen.

Just got my Yakima Carbonite 18 Skybox on my 200 Land Cruiser! It fits perfectly and the rear hatch opens with about 2"'s of clearance.

Man the white 200 is awesome. What size tires are you running? What lift?

We're running identical TRD 17s with 285-70-17. The white truck also has spidertrak 1.5" spacers. He's got radflos I have ARB BP51s.
