my thoughts exactly...

Heh. I never gave it much thought...until now.

Oooooh!!! **I shall have to point out the cool driveway to the wife as a DISTRACTION--just as she's in danger of noticing new mods!!

Thanks, guys!!

I know I cringe sometimes when going into places LOL hey do you keep track of the real world height of the vehicle? what are you at now with that roof rack?
Measured to the top rail of the rack is 82"
Also had a brain fart with my earlier post garage height limit was 2.1m and not 1.1

I like those wheels on the 341 truck. Anyone know what those are?
Toyota autobody had similar looking wheels, could be the same. They ran with enkei if not they could be braid wheels

They are Enkei Magnesium wheels. I located them in Japan at about $1500 each.

Woah! No thanks!

Although magnesium wheels are a HOOT to burn in a desert campfire...as the magnesium eventually IGNITES and burns to incredibly WHITE-HOT that it literally lights up the entire area like a STAR. Anyone ever burned magnesium?

That's the only thing I remember from 7th grade science class. Magnesium burns white. I remember getting yelled at when I asked the teacher why I needed to know that. Now I know, lol

Vw bug engine blocks might happen to be magnesium. ;)

I have, and have a stockpile of magnesium ribbon stored somewhere in my shop. Perfect for igniting thermite.

Sounds like you did exactly what I was asking them to switch too... 5mm.

We have very similar rigs, so that sounds great.

Christo said about the only difference between 0 and 5 would be lift height...so I'm thinking 5.
Lift finally went onn last night...

Have not achieved best ride yet, bc shop mistook directions and pre-loaded for a full bull-bar & winch, etc. Kinda harsh on small stuff til fixed...

Will have it back it down about 15mm in front to just under 5mm preload... but should be close to level once drawers and my heavy-ish gear go in back. Ended up with a way taller lift in front at this point too... Picked up after they were officially closed...

Wondering how much lift will be lost losing 15mm on the mount. Maybe double that to about an inch or over? Would be fine, as it ended up with a massive 3.75 inch lift in front... Too much.

Next target for me pennies... Sliders/Drawers.

Markuson, I would be curious to hear your decision making regarding the BP51 vs. Radflo and other brands. Sorry if you have already posted elsewhere, so if that's the case, can you please point me in the right direction? With the lift, I would think that you would not be able to fit it under the door of a standard height garage (7')? Also, which shop did you use for the installation? I'm in north Orange County, and am planning similar suspension mods on a 13 LC. Thanks.

Honestly, there are others here who can recommend a better shop, and who have far more expertise than me.
I'm actually having ETREME difficulty with the shop I took mine to. I have another appointment on Tuesday, where they plan to FIX their mistake...and put back the engine-bay mud guards they literally *threw away* by accident.

Sad part is... The same shop did a great job with my 100 series some years back...but they completely botched this one.

Ill have more perspective on the BP-51's once things are properly adjusted for preload, etc.
