On a 2 week 4x4 safari in deep South Island. Pic taken in Skippers Canyon, once known as the worlds richest river. Old gold prospecting town long long ago abandoned once the gold was all played out. See if you can find it on Google Earth. Awesome trail. I'll post a few pics in a separate thread if there is any interest.

Awesome shots, Bill.

Nice pics Bill. I assuming you have a breather kit installed for diffs and tranny.

Then a very challenging day in 2015.

We were headed to Mass and a guy ran a red light, we were 6 deep inside. We didn't see him until 1 second to impact due to a blind spot.
I was driving, I tried to hit the brakes and it was too late. We didn't slow down at all. We hit and then spun around backwards. All frontal airbags went off and we were lucky that we didn't roll. We were going around 45 at impact.
Thank God my family was not hurt, and thank God the other driver didn't have a passenger! He broke his arm and got a few scratches. Everyone inside Land Cruiser was fine. We did get some bruises and had to get some therapy etc.. nothing major, and no broken bones. If you study the pictures it's mind boggling that we pushed that other car so far, without rolling it etc...
Both cars were total losses. Luckily I had purchased the land cruiser right and received above what I paid for it from the insurance company. Needless to say we got another land cruiser. Momma went back to a GX and I sold my truck and got the white 200 LC.

Looks like all four doors opened and cabin was in tact. Cant say that about the car. I glad family is ok.

Still need to buy a winch. But in the meantime, I now have very bright 225W spotlights.

What do you have mounted on your front bumper between your driving lights? My apologies for being ignorant and uninformed and ugly... Etc etc just neeeed to know! Haha

Wow! Your girls look similar age to mine. What car/booster seats did you have and assume they did their job? Glad you all were ok!
Thank you, I am not sure of the name or brand, my 3 year old was behind me in a seat that has sides, head, and seat support. My 5 year old was in the third row and she was sitting on a booster. Two teenagers were in the middle and passenger side rear seats with seat belts.

Cheers Lads.

Yes, breathers on both sumps, gear box, transfer case and another one too somewhere, cant remember right now but 5 in total all up fixed to fire wall as high as poss.

Water gets its colour from both clarity (absolutely crystal clear and clean) and ujnderlying green stone on bed. Deep blues and greens are a constant knock out. Just incredible country for wheeling, rafting, tramping, camping etc. No bears, snakes and biting things - except murderous mosquitoes. The buggers ride motorcycles down here they are so big.

Thing in middle between LEDs is solenoid winch controller. Must install it within bar sometime as I only ever use RF remote controller anyway.

I love your setup man! I've been looking through your pics. I'm not result to go full outback like a bunch of dudes on here. I mean, if like to but it's my daily driver currently. I plan on keeping it forever so eventually I'll dress it up.

What tires do you have?
Where can i get the lift you have? I'm in Lubbock so i don't know who i would have install it.

To do list:
-your lift and tires
-sliders (slee? )
-Pinsur roof rack

thanks for the props man, it's working out well... You can contact @torfab or Metaltech for the lift, it's the Ironman Cellfoam pro kit. I'm running the Fuel Anza 18x9 inch wheels with 20mm offset. The tires are BFG Mudders 285/70 R18's. You'll also need the Toyota front coil spacers if ya roll that tire and wheel setup to give you the extra lift to avoid rubbing! Let me know if ya got any other questions. thanks

The HREs came in yesterday. I put them on with 285/65/20 KO2s, which comes out to be a 34.6x11.6. I wish they were a little wider, but they don't rub near as much as the 34x12.50s.

The truck rides a little rougher but drives all around better with the 20s.

That interior is beautiful; I wish I had some in my Amazon Green 200. That would be a beautiful combination!

Took a trip to Death Valley. Put another 1500 miles on the odometer in the process. Found some pretty rugged stuff and a lot of high speed along the way. Probably did about 500 miles of dirt. Took a lot of pics of the truck but happen to really like this one in Marble Canyon.
