In my search for what my LC would look like with different Tundra wheels I think it would be nice if we had a thread where everyone who has tundra or different than LC stock rims could post up in one thread so we can all get an idea of what they look like.

If yall post a pic please tell us:

Tire Size and Suspension upgrade Thanks!

I keep seeing a similar question - If a rim fits a 2007 100 series it will fit a 1998. Yes 16" rims were factory from 98 - 02 and 18' from 03 - 07 but rims are interchangeable throughout the years. Any 07 and newer Tundra / Land cruise rim will fit - the center caps might require some trimming to work.

So that being said a 16' early LC wheel will fit a 2005 LX470.......and that LX470 wheel will fit the early 100 series years

Debating on this tire size, do you have any lift at all? Did you notice a big drop in power when you installed them?

Honestly, I have had 275/70/18 tires on this truck since the first week I owned it. I'm sure the truck is slower with the larger tires but it still has plenty of get up. There's a MPG drop also but that's also to be expected.

I do not have a lift but the truck is lifted a little (1/2"-1") with AHC/TB's.

Anyone do the black trd pro wheels from 2019 on theirs? I want black wheels and a guy local has these on some 305/65/18 ko2’s. I feel like with the black caps from the non pro wheels and the black trd lugs they would look dope. But also maybe too shiney? Second pic is the cap I was thinking

That black glossy finish is dope, at least for me.

@creekcruiser looks great, just needs a more aggressive tread and it will take some attention away from the shiny new rims.

Agreed. One of the better 200 wheels for the 100 series, IMO. Some other tires and a little dirt to knock the shine off and I think they'll look even better.

There's another user on here that has those same Tundra take offs coated in a similar color (Prismatic Powders "Bronze Chrome" per his build thread):

Speaking of which, if you aren't following his build you might want to rectify that. 98' Locked and Loaded 100 series build thread - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/98-locked-and-loaded-100-series-build-thread.939379/

Edit: Just realized he posted a few posts back. 🤦‍♂️
Very cool. Subscribed because I love a good adventure log
