I hate to be the annoying "what's it worth" guy, but these things are so rare in the US that's really hard to gauge. It's probably more of a "how bad do you want one" kind of question, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

It's a 1990 PZJ75 LHD 5spd manual (waiting on confirmation on transmission model). ~160k miles. Rust free. 100% Stock. A/C.

That would bring about $8000 in the middle east but 75 and 79 pickups are everywhere here. The costs to get one to the US aren't that high but it's incredibly difficult to do unless you are in the country and can do the deal in person, or at least in the same time zone. The fact that it's in the US obviously makes a big difference in "value". Good luck with the decision.

I don't think the interior of that bed is OEM by the way unless that's some market specific configuration that I'm not aware of (and I am far from an expert so maybe so). Of course maybe that's just some type of liner. Hard to tell from the last photo.

Yeah, I'm trying to get some pictures under the plating on the bed to see what's under there. Interior shots have been requested as well.

I know a couple have sold on here in the last couple years in the $25k range and both had different engines and were slightly more rough cosmetically. And one polished turd (respray over rust) South American truck sold recently on BaT.

The issue importing is the 25% Chicken Tax on pick-ups. Unless anyone knows of a loophole. Lol.

Appears to be on one of the Spanish islands like Tenerife . If it is a deal it usually gets snagged up by the dozen people that almost buy every decent deal there , if it is there and they don't buy it you might want to go and check it out in person . Value in the US would probably around 20K but don't forget to add the 25% chicken tax and some safety in case you get pulled out for inspection by customs either here or there and costs for you might add up fast at that time regardless if everything is ok on your end or not.

Well if you're in country you can write your own US bill of sale. I think it's treated a little different if it comes back with you when you move as well although I don't have confirmation on that.

That one red south american truck that sold on BAT a few months ago went for way more than it was worth. I think the owner might even say the same if he were being honest. I hear you on the $25K and on the BAT auctions. I've seen some crazy prices recently. I'm not saying it's not worth $25k; it's just not worth to me given the market where I am.

Thanks Joe. Great info.

Those load bay panels are really cool. I've got a set to install prior to getting my truck bed lined. Mine are smooth aluminum for the bed areas and the same 5 bar checker plate like on that one for the tail gate.

Single sheetmetal skin on the beds......kind of easy to beat up if the bed gets used. Adding that inner layer helps keep them nice. Great looking truck!

In case you haven't already asked, you should also ask about the type of brakes. Some had drums all round or discs all round and some probably had disc front and drum rear.
Some came with or without power steering
They came with open diffs, LSD and lockers
Ask for a gauge pic, some have a really simple dash fascia and others have the full gauge assembly.
If you know the market or serial number of the vehicle , you can usually work out what is installed.
The 70 series is probably the most diverse of all the landcruiser when it comes to options.

Ask if it has the dust filter sensor on the airfilter box so they think you really know your stuff.;)

Also ask for engine bay pics from all angles.

I decided to pass before I got the rest of the info. Price with 25% tax was just too much to justify even it was cherry clean original.

Appreciate the advice. If anyone has deeper pockets than me, feel free to PM me and I'll put you in touch with the exporter.
