I've been told that the Japanese use a different FM frequency range than we do in North America which would render this radio useless. Does anyone know if that is factual?View attachment 1148564
You can install fm converter to receive radio signal

That's exciting news!
Although the actual process has only taken a couple of months, I've been looking for a 77 Series for over a year, so it's nice that at least this phase is almost complete.

I doubt the wood lid is OEM but there is a neat storage area.
