you have been treating yourself to some serious christmas toys. congrats.
I'm tired of getting passed by 1965 VW Beetles. :)

I only need ~ 30 horsepower to feel like I have a real Diesel engine. : )

Mild off-roading can yield some interesting photos......

actually, even though you will be making the same or a bit better HP than the 12HT, the 2HT doesn't have the grunt of the big brother.
the DI throttle is VERY sensitive with gobs of torque.
the IDI is smooth and the horsepower comes on so nice.

I knew I should have kept that 2L-TE. It wasn't second fiddle to any engine. : )

Pre - pre season scouting for Tom?

I scout year round ( I can't help myself ) but on this particular day I was just riding a few trails on the farm with the kids. :)

I just spent the weekend with my youngest daughter looking at potential colleges (800+ miles) and while I didn't particularly enjoy driving her Honda Civic, (the sucker feels like it is 1" off the ground) I must admit I would like to see this fuel economy on either of my 70 Series.

In order to finish the calculation you need to divide by fun factor.

if your license isn't important to you, CIVICs can be a lot of fun.
My daughter has the two door coupe and while I'll admit it's a pleasure to drive, it's got more blind spots than a solar eclipse.

Charles, Does she have a short list of schools now? Our youngest is at UGA in her first year so we had this exercise last year. Always interesting how a choice of this importance plays out.

The HJ75 was dropped off this morning for the turbo installation. I'll be spending next week in the torture chamber trying to convince others I still have adequate flying skills at my advanced age. Hopefully I want see the big flashing light that says "Game Over". :)

Look at all those buttons!

Look at all those buttons!
Most of which are fake. They are there just to impress the public and create the illusion that pilots are really smart.
We are told to not even touch the "important" buttons.

When did you grow a blonde pony tail? :grinpimp:

Oh ... sorry, wrong seat ....;)
