I have a 1984 Land Cruiser FJ60, which has very minimal surface rust. Undercarriage of car is in excellent condition. Car runs in excellent condition as I had just had the original 2f motor rebuilt, new clutch, rebuilt transfer case, wheel bearings replaced, new carpet installed, new sound system installed, new Mickey Thompson Classic 3 rims as well as some BFG's ko2 295/75r16 put on. Also installed is new Old Man Emu heavy suspension with anti inversion grease able shackles. Original windows, radiator has been flushed, Tuffy 8" center console, stock axles and gears. Thanks cons with the car is that the body could use some paint and doesn't have AC. Clean title. Car runs great and looks good. I always get a lot of compliments about the FJ. I'm asking 16,000 but am open to offers. NO Low Balling please. Serious inquiries only. Riverside CA.

Post this in classifieds. If you want 16K, you better detail that engine bay. Holy cow! That engine bay shows neglect to the details. Leaves a really bad first impression (even though any clean engine can look like that after a day on a dusty trail). Clean that sucker up! For 16k, I'd want the engine to look imaculate.

This post will get deleted here. As said, post in Classifieds. Are you going to get beat up on the price on this site.

You might also want to share why panels are replaced also. Accident? Rust? People will definitely want more pics for sure. Interior and undercarriage.

My friend just sold an immaculate 62 for a little bit more than this.

Be ready for a storm on this price.

Cool guys thanks for the advice on how I should modify my posting. Posting pictures of a clean engine bay would help

Good advice. I guess I really didn't think anything of it. Just got back from King of the Hammers and it was very very dusty out there. Thank You

Here in California prices for FJ's are pretty high. As you can see in the original post, i stated that $16000 or best offer. Thats just the number i decided to start with. Ultimately not the only purchase price i would be willing to take. Thanks for the input

moved to the for sale section

bring a trailer seems to be the best way to vet your price. what the market will bear is reflected in what these auctions closed out at

Land Cruiser FJ60 & FJ62

compare overall condition of yours to other sold trucks.

Hey OP!
I will shoot you straight:
It's going to be hard to justify 16k with the exterior in 3 different colors. Also, no interior pics and 250k on the clock.
As you said, your best bet will be a local guy where they pay a premium for landcruisers.

* 4 different colors.

Carpet looks nice.

For a reference point. I bought my 84 with 200k out of Colorado last summer. 100% stock. Original color, clean interior, faded roof paint from life in Arizona. Drove it home to Vermont about 2500 miles. I paid $8500 for it. It has zero rust on the body and the frame is just areas of surface corrosion. Needs a good mechanical going over and fluids changed etc.

Of course maybe I was just lucky and the price should have been $20k. I'd be happy knowing it was worth 2x.
