The front axle has a large ball on either end, not sure what they are called, forgive my ignorance of the terminology, but I’m sure the need to be greased? How, what, and when thanks.

A little easier to read.

Why would you say that it needs to be greased

I'm just guessing that anything that moves needs to be greased?

They're called Knuckles. They happen to contain the birfields which need MOLY GREASE!!! That is important as 90 W will ruin the seal on the back. There is a lil square top plug on the back side (iirc) of the knuckle (near the top) you can remove that, insert the tip of the grease gun and pump till it tries to leak out around the tip, remove gun install plug. if it looks full it probably is IIRC.

are you guys reading his mind or what, how do you know his ???
