SOLD!
After much deliberation, I have decided to list the Gazoo for sale due to my upcoming move to Asia.
Although I have an offer to store this, the stress is becoming too much. If I can not sell before I leave then it will be stored. Having a truck sitting in the states for the next 3 to 6 years seems silly.

I am asking $15,900 Negotiable Cash sale.
No warranty, no financing.
Shipping is on you.

The Gazoo is registered as a 1973 FJ40.
It has a clear Georgia title.

It was built from the ground up from parts I obtained mostly on Mud.

The details:

1986 2F - Just had a valve job and new head gasket installed.
Radiator is a lifetime warranty from Advance Auto Parts
New Fuel Pump
Gear reduction starter
Brand New Battery
FJ60 PS Pump
Trollhole carb
One piece headers
Electronic ignition out of an FJ60

Body and Frame
Body is a FST 1972
The doors are not finished but I am working on them - I have all new seals for them I just have not been able to get them straight for paint yet and it has been too cold to prime them here in NW GA.
Color is British Racing Green and it has just been painted
Seats are from Summit Racing
Frame and axles were blasted and POR 15ed
The rear sill was replaced and the rear fender wells are intact
The soft top frame is powder coated

Blasted and Powder coated 15" Factory wheels
Poly fuel tank up front (that does not leak!)
Big Confer tank in the back
Electric fuel switch on the dash
13" LED up front on the custom powder coated bumper
Tuffy Console with Stereo and 6"x9" Speakers behind the front seats
Door straps
Custom gauges
Hand built wiring harness

Spares
I will sell the truck with some spare parts including:
1986 Split case on a 4 speed transmission
Full set of coarse spline knuckles and birfs
Various steering parts
Flywheel, throw out bearing, clutch and pressure plate
New rear OEM tail lights
(All these are just spares - they are NOT waiting for installation)

I also have a rough hard top I would throw in to sweeten the deal

The truck has a total of about 50 miles on it.
It will need tires as it still has some old 30x9.50 roll arounds on it. (I suggest 33 x 10.50 KM2s ;) )

A few notes:
The rear LED lights are a little weird. For some reason when you turn on a turn signal, two LED nodes blink on the opposite side. I believe this is due to the trailer conversion harness I used to adapt the late column to the early lights.
The heater switch only works on low. I was going to pull it an clean it but have not had a chance. I have not kept all the receipts - only the stuff that is warranty. (I just did not want to know how much I spent on this truck!)

So there you have it. Not an easy decision but a guy has gotta do what a guy has gotta do. The truck is only for sale on Mud. It will remain for sale until March 15th. If not purchased it will come off the board and be stored.

Note: If I sell this I will also be selling my M416 trailer. Interested in both? We can talk. >>>1966 M416 LINK<<<

super clean rig... well worth the dough for a refurb of this quality. heck 15g is half of what it takes to refurb a rig to this level. dont ask me how i know....$$$

Awesome truck. Well worth the money. Good luck with the sale and your move.

Nice build HH! GLWTS. If you weren't taking Penny, Dave, might have bought it back

that's a bargain price

Might be a tad low but the market is a little soft plus, it is not all original so I think I have it listed at a pretty reasonable price. I looked at a few ads before I posted - not sure some guys actually want to sell!

hell in one of these fancy auctions you could bring in 40K without doors.

 I will probably be the victim of a flipper!

Congratulations to you and the soon to be new owner. You have done a lot of great work on her.

Is the trailer spoken for?

Beautiful ...... The new owner should be very proud.

Can you post a few more photos so I can feel even worse for not seeing this earlier?
