It’s been a long weekend, but I got her all buffed.

Next step;
I’m dropping the seats off at the upholster’s this week.
Windshield should arrive this week
Gas tank arrives Thursday
Waiting on my order from cruiser corps with all the lights and misc things.

So a little update:
The gas tank finally came In, I installed it and plan on driving her tomorrow. I painted the spare tire and mounted a tire on it, I changed the head lights, taillights, turn signals and all the little odds and ends today.

I dropped the seats off, hopefully they will be done next week.

Currently pending
- front bumper (waiting in it)
- windshield (waiting on it)
- connect all lights
-headliner
- install seats

I’m planning a n taking her next month to turkey rod run!

Nice truck! Those windshield hooks will need to be clearanced to be able to swing back far enough to catch the windshield.

Today I’m real happy, I took her on her first drive. She drove amazing! I got all the gauges working and started organizing all the electrical.

what’s missing
- windshield (they sent me the wrong weatherstrip)
- connect all the lights
-headliner (I’m waiting on upholster)
- seat (im waiting on upholster)
- bumper (I already have)

I actually already have them, just haven’t swamped them out

Late night and early start, but I got all the lights working, had a crazy “spaghetti” in the back so I made a brand new harness. added an extra ground to the tag light.

headlights, park lights, turn signals brakes and all 4 side lights work.

I have all the guages working.

tonight I’m going to dig into the dome light, horn, and cigarette lighter. Then everything will be working.

I ordered the windshield gasket from cruiser corps and they sent me a gasket that is WAY to big, they said this is the “reproduction” has anyone ran into this?

In a 73 with a Red and green hot wire to the dome light were does the dome light Turn on.

I got it!! There was 3 loose wires in the glove box, and the little switch is on the passenger side!

I bought aftermarket windhshield gasket and locking strip for my '68. It was useless for me. The rubber wasn't as pliable. I had an OEM set for my '67 project and it worked perfectly. If possible, buy the OEM kit rubber.

I was thinking the same thing. I might add some door triggers that way the light turns on when you open the doors. Was looking into buying something oem from a later year
