DENVER COLORADO USA
We spent 2 years and countless dollars painstakingly restoring this 1971 Land Cruiser FJ40. A beautiful frame off restoration featuring all new wiring, Drive-train, and of course Disc Brakes, new fuel system including fuel tank. By the way we started out with a really nice truck that was merely painted the wrong color with minimal rust.

Powered by Cummins Diesel 4BT 3.9 ltr. In-line 4 Cylinder, large air to air Intercooler, P7100 pump, HX35 turbo, non- EGR, 8 valve, with 450ft/lbs torque @ 1600rpm and 180 HP @ 2500 Rpm. which cruises at a comfortable 80-90 MPH uphill. NV-4500, Five -speed New Venture/Chrysler (Ram) transmission and automatic locking transfer-case all brand new matched to the Cummins diesel. Tuned to perfection by a world renowned diesel mechanic here in Denver, no black smoke and starts in seconds. A conversion cost of $25,000.00, by far a better solution than even the ICONic builder uses. Will run for 200-300,000 miles easily!

Repainted original PPG code I-1710 Toyota 14208 Scanda Blue inside and out. With new charcoal upholstery covering the seats. $6000.00 spent on paint and interior restoration.

Along with the disc brakes we found some of the last few brand new BFG KM2's 31/10.50 15 left to cover the original 6.5 inch wide steelies to help it stop. To fit the 31 inch tires we added a 2 inch Old Man Emu suspension which maintains the original ride with a slightly more comfortable feel. Here we spent an additional $8500 for ride and comfort.

Down to the fuel tank and wipers, this thing is new. All new wiring, and exhaust A real head turner with a modern touch. Clean Colorado title! Call Rob 720-879-4069

This is a FULL RESTORATION, starting with a rust free fj40 with basically every part new. Price out your cost to build before you hit buy it now or offer a fair offer. To re-create this build you are easily above $60,000.00 thanks for looking.

Incredible 40... GLWS!

How long ago was the restoration done? It certainly doesn't look recent.

Did you repaint this door patch?

Door weather seals not complete.

What about the rear left jump seat and front center seat and headliner were they restored?

The rear bed and sill look like in need of some paint touch up and 8 drilled holes need to be plugged.

Was the fire wall repainted during restoration?
There's a fire wall grommet missing adjacent to the power brake booster at 11:00 O' clock

Hey....I think we can agree it has some room to go to be letter perfect....but that is a pretty awesome cruiser in my book.

if i didn't just buy a Hemicon, i would consider it

My issue isn't with the truck - Is a pretty nice, much nicer than my own even.
My Problem is the OP and the AD.

"FULLY RESTORED NO EXPENSE SPARED" - - - Except for the expense of removing badges, hinges etc. before paint.
"A beautiful frame off restoration featuring" - - - Mabey it was a frame off a some point but not the last time it was sprayed.
"Repainted original PPG code I-1710 Toyota 14208 Scanda Blue inside and out." - - - Sure but obviously not at the same time
"This is a FULL RESTORATION, starting with a rust free fj40" - - - Except that its not (its a nice refurb tho) and there is signs of old rust and rust on it now

Like I said, it is a nice truck. So why couldn't the OP have just posted an ad that was truthful? He will still get a nice buck for this.
I guess I already know the answer to that!!

I agree with AWhelan, "all new wiring" but you can see the old harness coming through the firewall with a split grommet and there is a grommet missing above the crusty brake booster attached to a faded firewall that if it had been "frame off restored" would not be the condition. You can also see surface rust on the frame in front of the drivers rear spring mount, again "frame off restored"? Also can you say it was "restored" while having a 4bt? Not exactly an original setup plus the grant steering wheel and what look like tractor supply LED's bolted to the bib. The "6000 dollar paint job" was done over Bondo with nothing removed and overspray on many other items elude to it not being an expensive job.

Nice looking fun useful truck if the modifications were done correctly but not a $40k restoration. I also seriously question a $25K engine conversion that uses an autozone special cone filter and could not fabricate a fan shroud.

All the above X2. If you were able to secure 4 unicorn tires, couldn't you have at least gotten a matching spare too? Details seal the deal.

Holy wheel weights Batman...
