On the hunt for a 2F to replace the F? If you go that route I may be interested in your F if you sell itā¦. Thereās a project 40 near me with no engine Iāve been eying real hard. Real hardā¦.Ladies and Gentleman, I am back. My apologies for the unexcused absence. I had an all expenses paid 9 month vacation to the Middle East. Compliments of your tax payer dollars and the U.S. Army.
@rkymtnflyfisher hooked me up with the guys at 4plus for a rear bumper. If anyone knows the handle for the guys at 4plus please tag them. This bumper looks great, and for not having any instructions, was super easy to install.
The PO had welded on a plate where the old receiver hitch had been. So step one was to cut that SOB off.

Top bolts for the old spare tire carrier came off without any drama. The bottom bolts however were a wee bit rusty and did the typical pain in the ass thing.

With that everything else went on without a hitch.

Next on the list is to mount some side mirrors. I bought some from cool cruisers that mount to the windshield hinge. Not sure I am the biggest fan of them yet. Of course the bolts gave me a hard time. So I have order new bolts and will wait to install the mirrors until new bolts arrive.
I also would like to convert the bench seat into buckets with a tuffy box in between. And suggestions for bolt in options? Seems Corbeau makes a sliding adapter option. Anything else out there?
Other items are to chase down oil leaks. Install new weather stripping and headliner. I am also on the hunt for a 2f engine.
Oh almost forgot, the clutch master cylinder took a crap on me the other day as well. I found a replacement kit from cool cruisers etc that had both the master and slave cylinder. Easy install!
What else should I be looking into?
