Very shiny Frank. Two things. I would be concerned that plating the engine mounting insulators would compromise the integrity of the rubber. Second, did you test fit the front bumper already? Because that small wave in the left frame channel behind the center arm pivot could very well effect how the frame holes and bumper holes line up.

I Restore battery try long time ago like 10 years(I think one of the first parts I get ready to instal ) at that time my concern at first time of the day , get on my computer and scrool on the eBay new pages and finde parts, thats how I get the early gas filter glass cup!
CHEKING front lines to get clamps ready!

Frank, just the glass, or the whole filter? Because if it’s the whole thing that really is an NOS filter.

I just commented a week or two ago about how the thumb screw changed over the years . That is the early design. If it’s an NOS assembly, I would change the rubber seal before I put gas in the system.

Yours is the one on the left. The one on the right is what has been available for the last 38 years.

I restore on 2012 , and yes is all think early one , and yes I change the rubber !

He means rotating the line itself, as if it were threaded? This works for me…occasionally.
