Got both side windows in. Of course the curse of the LV strikes again. I read that you could use the early fj40 front windshield gaskets for the 3 rear and windshield ( if you cut front windshield 1/4 smaller)… well sides needed gasket cut shorter and I knew that but I now have 2 I’m not using as the tailgate hatch and windshield both used offset gasket as I still have original glass.. the front windshield is way bigger than a fj40 so that gasket was too short. Glass installer is going to make me a better front windshield (old one was not very square) and a roll of gasket and make me a front windshield gasket. For the tailgate he has some offset gasket so I can keep my original rear glass. The fight continues!

Sounds like you're finding out all the same things I did when I went down this path 4 years ago. Let me know what part number your glass guy uses for an offset gasket on the rear hatch glass, please. I have an offset gasket that works, but I'm not super happy with the overlap/fit.

Fixed my running lights.. bought new ones but it was brought to my attention I needed clear lenses and not the amber they come with so I cleaned my original ones and put them on.

I know the clear lens are correct, but I think the amber lens looks better against the blue color. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I agree … I’ll keep both so future owner can decide.

Powder coat rims as close to Cygnus white as they can do and some BFG All Terrains white wall out will be the tire like this. I have re pop T hub caps

Small victories.. glass installer cancelled again😔 but powder coater had rims done so got the new tires mounted. Drive a little then retorq logs and put my new T Hub Caps on.

Looking great! What weather stripping did you use on the side windows at rear quarter panels? Also the the lift gate?

I used FJ40 front windshield gaskets with the lock strip on the 1/4 glass. My glass guy is cutting a smaller back glass to use a fj40 windshield gasket as well. The FJ 40 gasket will not work on windshield as it’s to short so he is going to use some from a bulk roll. I’ll post up the solution once he gets them installed and I have confirmation it works.

Shoot! I was hoping you found a suitable offset gasket for the back glass. I have one that "works", but it should be better.

New glass cut for front and back window and new gaskets. Will need to shim rear upper strut for top tailgate as it puts pressure on gasket when fully closed and can shatter rear tempered glass if it applies pressure. That’s why it had offset gasket from factory. Upholstery shop got carpet in for mats . Baby steps!

Custom carpet done. Headliner going in today and tomorrow. Progress. He made me a custom heater extension since rubber ones are NLA.
