It’s a driver! Final little touch up a on paint and install the door seals and some emblems after final polish. Took family for a nice drive . Got a lot of attention!

In the 45 world, the lv is imho the hardest and most time consuming, not to mention $$$! To restore! Great job and glad you and the family are enjoying the fruits of your labor!! On a funny memory, the very first 45 I bought was a 64 way back in 1994! Paid $900 from the original owner! Original paint and rust free!!! Stripped it before og paint was the thing( it had the ultimate patina back then!! And had it painted for $900!!!! Miss those days!!!

Thanks!! It’s been a fun road and lot of work but a great journey . Will be going on the market soon. I too miss the days of finding them in yards, newspaper in the classified section! If only we knew then what we know now!

Thanks! Im calling it a Preservation/Driver.

Right on Jason. So cool. I heard McClintocks is back open..........Time for some real "Surf n Turf".........LOL Miss those days. Might be time for a road trip.
McClintocks is closed. The Arroyo Grande location in the village reopened as Vix Creek Saloon(apparently he was a manager and opened it up. Thanks for the compliments! Went to cars and coffee this am. My neighbor took his 53 year 1948 Chevrolet woody project (53 years of storage and building and it’s finally done)
