They go on the inside of the frame :D

Probly not much help

I am trying to reinstall my motor and cannot figure out which motor mounts go where? I am in the middle of installing so if someone could make a quick post it would be very helpful. Thanks

don't know if I am too late or not but...... the short sided motor mount goes on the driver's side and the longer on the passenger. HTH:beer:

Got the motor mounts sorted out and motor is in, but cannot seem to find the bolts that go thru the transmission mounts and into the frame. Can anyone tell me the exact size? I am sure I could find something at the hardware store, but I am sort of anal and would like the original size. This is quite a challenge bc I did not disassemble certain parts of this truck myself, specifically the motor and figuring out what goes where and what bolts to use is tough. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Answered the question myself. For reference, they are 12x90 with hole for cotter pin and castllated nut.

Got a bunch of good work time in today on the LV. Spent 9 solid hours today on rust repairs. For those of you guys getting ready to do this, read ClemsonCruiser ;), these pics will give you a glimpse of all the fun you have to look forward to. It is amazing how solid these tubs are even with the rust. When you cut them apart to remove the rust you can see how many layers there are and how incredibly strong they are. No doubt these are special vehicles and never will a body be built to the level of quality these were ever again. Look at how many layers of steel there are and the gauge of steel is amazing. No tin can here.
We have also been working on assembling the motor accessories. It has been challenging remembering how all this stuff goes together since it has been so long since I took it apart. Thank goodness for digital pics and the internet. I have been working on the Porsche for so long that the poor old cruiser got back burnered. It took a little bit of thinking to remember what and where I was, but I am rolling now. It is actually sort of fun having the two projects to work on, keeps things interesting. Just trying to keep it fun and not make it stressful with time limits etc. Well here are a bunch of pics. None of the welds have been dressed yet so it looks is a little messy. I concentrated on fabrication and getting patches in place.

Nice welds - do you run a bead or tack one after the next or do you jump around?
