Very very nice. Would be working on mine but getting my 40 ready for the woods and we had a serious storm come thru yesterday so need to go work on the barn, tore part of the roof of where we have the horse.

Looking good as usual, hopefully be back on mine next couple of days depends on a few things right now.

Just a quick update, I don't want anyone to think I am slacking. I spent about a solid 3 hours towards the lv tonight, but nothing was actually done on the lv.

I spent pretty much all my time out in the paint booth. Pulled everything out of the booth and went to town with the air hose. Just blew and scrubbed everything off that was hanging on the lights and walls. I have to seam seal the drip edge tomorrow I think and install the drivers side window, also might spray a couple other parts. But just getting prepped for wet sanding which will hopefully start in the next couple days. Gotta work this weekend so only the evenings this weekend for me, but all next week also.

If all goes well, I'm hoping to be paint in about a week and a half.....well see how it goes, not going to rush it at this point ;)

Also got a couple care packages from Shane and Mike today. Mike's window parts will be installed tomorrow. Shane is entirely to good to me....I'm assuming at some point I'm going to have to name my first born after him :D

Thanks to Mike and Shane for the current parts, keeps the project from stalling

Also, a couple pics of something I have been working on for over a month. Keeping this one a secret until I could see if it would turn out ;)

It's not cleared yet, but I just couldn't wait anymore :bounce: I thought it turned out pretty good and I thought I better post a pic of it. I have a little touching up to do on the background paint, the shavings from the carbide bit scratched a couple spot when it was fly cut on the mill. Not a big deal for touch up, but needs to be done before clear.

Anyway, pics, just to see what you guys think?

I figured you might :D

You've got more work to do, you might just have to come up and get it in person ;)

I will see what I can do.....seriously. Right now there are only 2 prototypes.

Never been good at 'wet sanding' Matt....my junk hits the rocks before the paint even thinks about being cured...

Where is the work list?? ;)

Oops, forgot the pic of the door pull, but yes it was in there. Mike, you have taken care of me more than you know, I'm just starting to take it for granted now;) Thanks for everything and your still more than welcome to come up and visit :) Although not sure if you want to bring Steve :D

How about this, Matt Treeroot/AATLAS1X Anderson, jr. :flipoff2:

You know it all reality and fairness I shouldn't be singling out anybody. I have had more help, insight and parts shipped to me out of good will than I would have ever imagined or expected. This project would be no where near it is now and turning out as well as it is without the help of everyone here.

And I've said it before.........none of this would be here or possible without the man himself........Thanks Woody

Fawking SWEET! Make MORE!

Got a solid 3 hours on the lv tonight, although it doesn't look like much.

Got home and tossed those vent frames in the blast cabinet and cleaned them up. Hung them up in the booth and shot a coat of epoxy primer on them, base and then cleared. Should be dry tomorrow.

Installed 1 of Treeroot's parts, that front driver side glass holder piece. Had the wife out giving me a hand with that. I had to stop by the auto glass guy's place in town to pick up some rubber for that. While I was there, got another piece for between the window frame and door. Cut it down and fit it up, not exactly the same, but should work?

Finally got that seam sealer on, took about 4 tubes and over an hour, but at least it's done. Shouldn't be any water or moisture getting in my roof now ;)

Gotta work all day tomorrow into the evening and all day Sat. and Sunday. Hoping to get some time in Sat. and Sunday night.

On another note, where to I go to buy those $300 pieces of triangular weatherstripping for the vent windows. I thought I could maybe fab some up, but it isn't looking good. So it's going to be.............Thank you sir may I have another!!

Thanks, Matt

I think TLC4x4 has them...BOHICA...

Do you have a program for the emblems? If so, what format is it and would you share it? We've got a few Fadals here at work and a bunch of aluminium. Are you welding studs to the back?

I personally don't have the program for the emblems. Unfortunetly the people who did it aren't going to give it to me either. No plan to weld studs on the back, I'm going to use an automotive emblem adhesive and glue it to the tailgate, I think that will work good.

Also got on the phone with TLC yesterday and bent over for those vent window weatherstripping pieces........;p
