Picked this truck up in Montana. Its been a couple weeks, but tearing it apart pretty quick so thought I would start this build.
My Dad and I drove his 6.4l Hemi Ram from WI to Helena MT to get this rig. Drove through Yellowstone on way home. What a great park!
Truck is mostly complete. Rear bed needs work so that's where I’m going to start.
Cab in pretty good shape. Needs rocker repairs and some box work behind main floor.
Metal roof dented and gas some oil canning, but not rusted through.
Engine is not original, but same era. Compressions are approx 130 psi. Filled up big window, cleaned points, and motor fire up and idles good.
Truck came with non original 3-speed column shift. I think it originally had a side shift tranny.
Frame was full of mud , but seems solid. Front bumper Left side has some PO mods that need repair.
Not a fan of color or wheels so don't worry about that!
Ordered city racer split window seals once I got truck.
Not sure where Im going with this yet. I have a disc front axle. I like the column shift also.
