Good advice, thank you. I thought I would put the drawer on the right because the weight of my recovery gear would better offset the driver weight day to day. Hmmm. I'll definately look into this!
And "that other site" is great. Rob is very helpful and has organized the info on there very well.
Hey 1407Driver, what motivated a shift from a sleeping platform to just storage space with the new design?

I understand the '03 LC has "optional" side curtain airbags. Where is the identifier/tag/label located on the '03+?
After looking at this thread, I realized I haven't really posted a good pic of what she looks like currently.
Loaded with gear.

Edit- running boards are actually off, but you get the idea.
A few things- Santa brought a fridge this year. It would fit on the platform, but I wasn't interested in buying/building a drop down slide. And with a little one on the way, it may be some time before I'll be sleeping in the cruiser. Also, I often have the need for a locking compartment with the work I do. Maybe it's all just an excuse to do another mod...
With a little one on the way you'll need to sort out a rear tether anchor for the car seat in your design as well. Currently it's located about 9" off the back of the 2nd row in the cargo area under the carpet. Most car seats don't use it when the baby is facing backward, but once you turn the car seat around it's certainly needed.
