Don't sip your drink before you know the flavor..... or AKA, you know @nakman. He ALWAYS has something up his sleeve. Stand by to stand by..............
I like the sound of that!!!

For everyone coming from out of state.... I don't want to put a damper on anyone's trip to the San Juan Mountains, but we're very dry right now and there is a large fire in SW Colorado. Most of the state is under Stage 1 fire bans. Fire Bans & Danger We even getting some of the smoke all the way here in Denver.

Please know before you go. Even if you think you're too far out there for anyone to notice your fire, I wouldn't chance it. Besides burning down the entire state and going to prison, there are a lot of consequences for ignoring fire bans, especially in San Juan county. Don't give Sheriff Conrad a reason... he don't play.

And don't expect it to be different later this summer. San Juans and much of the rest of the state are well into drought this year like we had 3 or 4 years ago. It was very bad and the rivers being full of snowmelt for another week doesn't translate to safe conditions for a fire. Everything is dry but the river bed.

Was hazy all the way north of Cheyenne today.

cool announcement. while we know that nothing will be as cool as rolling around Silverton with 100 other 100 Series for 4-5 days, we would like to invite everyone to participate in our HIH virtuaALL event. it’s an Instagram based event where we encourage everyone to get out and explore this summer. stay near or go far, just get the family outside and use your rig to get away from some of the craziness for a few days. by tagging us with photos and videos, using #hih2020virtuALLescape on your posts, we and others will get to see what you’re up to. additionally, we plan to do some “challenges” so it can be somewhat interactive and FUN.

last thing, we have teamed up with Cruiser Gear this year for shirts. they will be selling and mailing out the #hih2020virtuALLescape shirts on our behalf. so please grab a shirt or two when they go live and let’s have a fun summer, together. check put your chance to vote on a color on Cruiser Gears Instagram page, now! Thanks everybody!!

And if you are passing through New Mexico before or after your time in CO, we are also in Stage 2 Fire Restrictions, which means no open fires of any sort. You can't even use a charcoal grill in the woods or at various picnic grounds in the state. I went to collect firewood last weekend and you can only use a chainsaw before 10 am and after 6 pm when the humidity levels are a little higher and temps are lower.

Wish I could share some of our rain (and cold) with you! Might be a liittle more snow-wheeling in MT this week...

I have a feeling that the shirt will end up on me and the sticker on my truck. Disappointing, I know!
