Just returning from a trip out through many parts of CO in our 100, including Silverton, Ouray, and Lake City. Each town was fairly busy. I wouldn’t say packed, but close at some shops/restaurants. We stopped in a few shops to contribute to the San Juan economy. The OHVs are out in full force, personal and rentals.
Had a blast out on the trails, but was of course a bit limited by our essentially stock LX (still running all-season tires, haha). We managed all of the Animas Loop, Engineer, and Cinnamon no problem. Attempted about half of Mineral Creek, and probably could have made it, but going against traffic was getting old with the slow pace and careful spotting required to get us down. Hope to be back in future years with HIH and a slightly more capable rig to try some of the passes we didn’t have time for this year!
If things with the pandemic don’t get bad a second time and require closures again, get out there and enjoy/contribute!
I'll have GMRS, HAM and CB. Probably be on GMRS most of the time as Lee, Connor and Andrew all use it exclusively. Looks like there are going to be at least 20 different cruiser owners in Silverton for HIH 9.2
Town is quiet but thankful for the business. Coffee Bear and RM Funnel Cake are very busy. They’re both owned by great folks that support HIH. Stop in and see them. Masks are mandatory in town. Not everyone is complying and it’s causing some arguments in the streets. Sad to see. Please wear a mask.

I was there last week and enjoyed a funnel cake with the family. Super nice people.we made sure we wore our mask. I absolutely love Ouray and Silverton... can’t wait to go back.

Mens shirts are starting to ship out! Got about 75% of them to the post office today. The rest of the pre-orders will be tomorrow. After that we'll ship them out a couple times a week as orders come in! Thanks for your patience!

Got mine in today! It's a GREAT shirt. Got all my San Juans patches as well. Quick questions: why only the San Juan Passes and Moab? Why no Stony Pass, Hurricane or Yankee Boy Basin? Have y'all ever considered doing patches for other major off-road passes in CO like TinCup, Mosquito, Hagerman, Georgia, Webster, Red Cone, Schofield, Santa Fe, Pearl, Shrine, Medano and many more. Those are BIG passes in Colorado. I'd buy every single patch. The patches you guys have are top notch.....seriously good quality BTW.

Surprised I haven’t seen this mentioned yet. Received a surprise gift from Tim (@nakman ) today.
Thanks so much for continuing the glass tradition. I’ll add it to my small but growing set. Vendors, and participants in general, like you are what make this event so special. I’m sure I ’need’ something gamiviti soon. I’ll being shopping your site this weekend.
Thanks again for the shot glass and your continued support.

Thank you for mentioning this. @nakman always exceeds expectations when it comes to making people feel like they are his only customer/or potential customer. He is a great guy that loves this community, Land Cruisers, and most importantly the folks that support both of those things.
Thanks again Tim, you do make a huge difference and do make HIH a special event!!!
