So referring to the number of welds, BaktashT describes a 3 Phase course of production. He numbers them 1,2, and 3. I'm asking what phase is being shown on his webpage presently(where the product is being sold), and what Phase is being sold presently? Those could be two different answers. Maybe the photos have not been updated, maybe they have. I'm asking.

If he is not in Phase 3, when will that happen? And how will it change the product?

These seem like common sense questions for someone wanting to buy the system.

This is as straight forward a way I can come up with to ask the question.

I agree with lesgarten, It is a simple question.

baktasht, Do you manufacture the exhaust that is being sold/shipped, as if this time, December 8 2012, in format 2 or 3?

2- first few production runs are built using pre-bent mandrel bends that are hand cut and hand shaped to our precise jigs.

or

3- we have our pipes 3d scanned and each section of pipe is mandrel bent as one piece by a highly accurate computerized CNC bending machine. After this batch is ready then all assemblies going forward are built using the custom bent sections.

Doesn't seem to complicated to explain, because you did that along time ago. :hhmm:

Either way it looks like a great product. The only difference should be cosmetic...

Format 2 currently. Format 3 will be around the end of March. The only difference between the two is the number of welds and where the welds are. The pipe routing is identical. Same diameter piping. All pipes are mandrel bent. All assemblies are built on the same precision jigs. They flow the same, they make the same power. Etc...

lesgarten, a complete answer to your questions would be very long. If you'd like, give us a call at the shop anytime and I'd be happy to go over the details with you of how production works on mandrel bent systems

I left 2 messages for you on Friday...

I really think I understand how this works.

Looks like PoppaWheelie was able to get the answer to the question I was asking.

Sounds good. I'll give you a call Monday morning when I'm back at the shop. In the mean time if you have any questions I can answer here or over PM, please feel free to ask.

Shipped out five 100-series exhaust systems last week. Here's a few more being prepped for shipment next week. A lot of high flow mid-pipes going out this coming week as well.

I think the last question I have is that I am thinking about the Mid Pipes, NO CATs. and the CATBack w/ resonator.

How much would it be to add a Plain no resonator Tailpipe to that order so that I have both Tailpipes?

I'm worried that with Headers and No CATs that it may get tiresome and don't want to be flying my tailpipe back and forth for modifications and maybe just getting both options up front.

Pretty impressive numbers! Would make a nice xmas gift i think....

It'd be $110 to add a second tailpipe with no resonator.

does the kit include the cats???
I need some work done asap so thanks for the response

whats the group view on wether the no new cats, and just new muffler will fix the cel???

if O2 sensor needs replacing it wont fix CEL.......if it is in fact for CATS then new cats may. A gas cap that does not seal properly will also throw a code. Read code and verify cause before throwing cash around.

@BaktashT

What's the delivery time for the midpipes and the Catback if I were to order today?

Can you provide a reliable delivery date?

Like if I got in before the big rush after the dyno runs are done!

Lesgarten has it right. The EMSPowered Cat-back exhaust is one "kit" and the EMSPowered midpipes are another product. The cats are located in the midpipes. Our midpipes are configurable with zero, one, or two cats per side when ordering. Details on our website here: http://www.emspowered.com/storefront/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=61_119_199_200

A new muffler or catback system will not fix a CEL that is due to old worn out cats. If you have a CEL due to old worn cats you'll need to replace the old worn cats. You can do this with our midpipes.

Lesgarten, you have PM regarding this.

What about him getting a NO CAT Mid Pipe?
