Long story made short. Some internal debris jammed up the Hvac blower fan. The fan was left on while not spinning.
After clearing the debris out of the squirrel cage, the fan would only blow when on ‘High’. All other speeds were dead. After searching, found this post which gave the best lx450...

Last week everything with AC/heat was working perfectly.
Blower motor make a huge racket and stops dead.
Take the blower apart and discover that a black plastic screen from the air intakes, exterior, below the windshield wipers has been sucked into the squirrel cage and jammed the...
I’ve developed a coolant leak, but can’t find/see the source. Somewhere on radiator,
US passenger side, top, and front (just below where the horn is mounted). Under the cross support.
There are no fittings that I am aware of. Any suggestions before I tear apart looking for it?

Havent used the alarm/key fobs in years. In shop for a tune up, and somehow they have armed the alarm and it won't stop honking.
They have managed get it in and out of the shop, and have done the repairs, but the alarm is still armed and won't disarm....
Any quick suggestions?
Thanks
Just a heads up on what I found out when the AC clutch would not engage after head gasket job.
A.c. was perfect before head work.
Freon was ok. Added 1/2 pound to bring to spec.
Fuses were ok.
Hi/low pressure switch tested ok.
Relays behind glove box tested ok.
Coolant temp switch under...
Last week finished up a radiator replacement including thermostat, gasket, hoses, etc... and have now found a coolant leak that wasn't there before.
I can't tell exactly where it's coming from. It is only leaking when hot and driving. Have not been able to reproduce it sitting in the garage...
Woke up this morning to a large puddle in the garage. After heating her up, she started to squirt all over. Out of the seam on the top of radiator. :bang:
There has been no trauma, no fender benders, or the like. Not freezing weather nor been really hot (95 degrees or so).
:meh:What is the...
Background first. Last winter my 2.0 starter began to 'grind' and not engage flywheel when first cranked. Immediately turn key again and everything fires up as normal. I replaced contacts hoping that would solve the problem, but it did not. We got through the winter, to the warmer weather and...
As I have driven several cruisers lately, I have noticed a wide variance in the gas pedal "feel".
About half have a nice, deep, natural feel...while the other half feel like the pedal is dead, very short range of motion. I could not distinguish much difference in performance...

It was a fairly simple :banana:, 2 1/2 hour procedure to pull the back of transfer case off and remove the viscous coupler POS:mad:. It had obviously been quite hot and was definitely seized (more...
Viscous coupler... Who needs it anyway
I am making the preparations to tear apart the t-case and buy ($ouch$) and replace the viscous coupler...
Before I do this is there any way to determine if possibly the CDL is just not behaving as it should?
I do not have CDL switch. When shifted...
Finally here are some pics... I have been rather busy researching this whole viscous coupler LSD issue that has the transfer case seized (Fake continuous CDL lock)...
I will be tearing into next week and depending on the dealers willingness to help out with a new VC $$ will replace, or just...

Basically, after making slow, sharp turns the drivetrain gives the sensation of 'sticking' or binding. Does it in H and L and the CDL 'dash light' is...
First, thanks to everyone who has helped with info and stupid questions over the past months (trunk monkey and others).
Finally my wait is over... after a year or so cruiser hunting I found one that fit the requirements. Pics will come soon.

I sure got excited for nothing... the gauge that I saw was actually a pressure gauge for some kind of air shock/leveler on the rear shocks. I guess the prior-prior owner did some towing.? I am kind of confused as to the TRD badges.
So no supercharger, and one roughed up cruiser.

So my patients has possibly paid off more than I could have expected.

I am checking out a '94 in the area with 135K on it from a local ford dealer.
Dealer started out like this...
"$7900, LOCKED, has transmission prob. and is in shop getting new/used/rebuilt tranny...price to change d/t repair":)
Now dealer sounds like this...
"$9700, huh?...MAYBE locked, and is...
Still looking for an 80, and some wisdom from the wise?

1994, 130K miles or 1997 180K miles? All else being equal(PM, condition, etc..)

Ive been shopping around for an FJ80 for awhile, and recently decided to check out the new FJC's. A search of our local market (Utah, KSL.COM) shows about a dozen 07 FJC's with less than 10K miles on them.
This makes me wonder what is wrong with them that they are being unloaded?
I drove one...
