RTH... shop has armed the alarm... (1 Viewer)

Havent used the alarm/key fobs in years. In shop for a tune up, and somehow they have armed the alarm and it won't stop honking.
They have managed get it in and out of the shop, and have done the repairs, but the alarm is still armed and won't disarm....

Any quick suggestions?

I believe you can disable it by twisting the key from off to on twice, no? Don't actually start it, just from off to the "on" position, twice in quick succession.

remove the alarm, if its the factory one the box is under the driver seat

Disconnect the battery, put the key in the ignition set to run and, with all the doors closed, connect the battery.

Thanks for the response. Will try these ideas. Just want to get it home where I can work on it (remove the alarm).
