Has anyone used the Coastal Offroad alloy bumper? It only weighs 32 lbs, which is very appealing. Having the factory winch out front I'm somewhat worried about the Dobinson's springs sagging prematurely.

If you have a post 90 Prado LJ7x or KZJ7x it should be. The plug will be taped off behind the dash and you'll be able to reach it once you pop out the dual Hub Lock/H4 switch.
This is awesome. So if you convert to manual hubs and replace this switch, the H4 button simply engages the transfer case for 4WD?

I was never happy with the amount of space my aux battery box took up with how limited space is in my truck already. So I decided to delete the rear heater system, which I always considered a bit overkill in such a small truck, and I relocated the aux battery to the space in the center console previously occupied by the rear heater blower.

First I bypassed the rear heater lines at the T-fitting by just replacing with a 5/8” joiner piece. Then I removed the heater, sealed the hole, and worked out how to make my battery fit. I had to raise the console brackets an inch. Then I wired two 12V outlets and an SAE socket to connect my portable solar panels to. Pretty pleased with how it turned out.

I also managed to find a blank rear panel for the console to replace the one with heater controls.

I have asked everyone I know their opinion on which of these lights to go with, and I'm leaning towards the rectangle lights. I feel like they will look good with my rectangular headlights and the angular lines of the car. The circles are cool too though. What do people think?

I’m a big fan of round lights.

I'm preparing to do a knuckle rebuild and I currently have the manual aisin hubs fitted with spacers. I am considering getting new spindles and wheel hubs from a factory manual hub model in order to I guess do the conversion more fully and do away with the need for spacers. Am I right that this would be a stronger setup? Is there any downside to this other than the extra cash it will cost me?

Looks great! I really like that you used the factory harness and switch for them too.

Do you happen to have a list of bends you used for the intercooler? I’m looking at doing a similar setup. Or was there anything you would advise as I dive into this project myself? Appreciate the thorough recaps of your work so far.

I don't have a list of bends. I bought a generic piping kit off of amazon and cut the pieces to my needs. It's not too difficult. Run the intake side through your passenger wheel well, and use a hole saw through the radiator support for the turbo side. Use 2" piping all around. Monitor it for awhile after you're done to see where the piping rubs and address it.

Heading to the shop this week to have my eaton e-locker installed. In an effort to save a bit on labor I went ahead and and did the wiring, through the factory diff lock dial. Then I added an indicator light on the dash where it would have been from the factory on a front and rear locked model. I think it came out looking pretty good.

Found the burnt out bulb for the climate controls so now I don’t have to fumble around in the dark to turn on the a/c, added a little subwoofer under the seat, and wired in an alarm to yell at me when I leave the headlights on, something I’ve done now many times.
