I found the receipt for mine. I bought them from Partsouq.com, the mirrors were 18.75 ea (87901-60011) the arms were 37.67 ea (87902-60030) and the stainless hinge mounting screws were .94 cents ea (90159-80010). Plus shipping of course.

You could go a different route like this, they’re way cheaper.

I’ve never heard of the term Garage Queen before…but, my FJ45 is becoming one. I’d hidden it from the winter weather since August. It also had a Rough Country winch on it when I got it and the one thing I read recently is….you should lube the...

The first really big project didn't come up until summer time. I started to notice in driving that my temperature was getting worryingly high and quickly approaching overheating territory. In browsing the forum I found that the Taurus 2-Speed fan...

Ill be keeping the rear drums for now, but wanted to keep it Toyota disc while getting the braking solid and safe. I'm open to suggestions right now for suspension, I almost fell down the rabbit hole on the HFS vs OME debate. I also had a local...

Looks like a great mod. I can’t remember the last time I drove my 40 in the dark, though!

I received my turn signal lights from CCOT this afternoon and I just couldn’t wait to install them, so I slapped them on..! My lights were very old. The color on the bodies were faded and they had developed rust on the bottom mount. They were...

I have an invoice from 1977 where the driver side spring pack was replaced due to being “deformed” at 1408 miles and leaning and 47 years later it’s starting to lean again. 😂 like you said I think it’s part of owning a 40.

@bernardbar3 I had taken photos of my girlfriend all around my 1974 FJ40 back in 1975…. That Land Cruiser has seductive energy… 49 years later they’re both still here. Although the cruiser is different, The girlfriend is the same except I...

Constructed an idea I had thought up awhile back for a spare tire upper brake light on my 1975 Fj40. For more info on it and the thinking behind it see my build thread here...

Pulled rear driveshaft to make working on the rear shims a little easier but mainly wanted to check spline engagement to make sure I don’t drop a driveshaft at full droop. I started by marking where driveshaft sits at ride height with yellow...

This looks like a fun project. Found a few YT tutorials with similar ideas. Could easily 3d print a case, or shove it in a gutted fuse box and no one would be wiser.

I would go with a hidden switch. Mine just causes an open circuit to the coil. Cranks till the battery dies but won't start.

Cruiser outfitters is probably my first choice. Just for reference, I have OME springs and bushings. I hear the voices that say the damper is necessary and I can’t say they are wrong. All I can say is I haven’t noticed any detrimental effects...

Like your list of upgrades — are you doing the rear with discs? What suspension are you considering?

Hello all, long time lurker, first time member here at mud. Current project is a 1969 FJ40. I'm resealing the motor, doing a 60 series front disc conversion, upgrading the aging suspension, and I'm hoping to put electric power steering on this...

I’ve had many bilstein sets on various vehicles and they ride great but I prefer the Foxes. Just added them to my 40 they ride awesome.
