I am in need of ideas or ideally pictures of how to mount or build frames for mounting seats in a FJ40. Not using the original seats and don't have any of the original hardware or frames for mounting the seats.

I should have been more clear in what I was in need of. I checked the FAQs section and saw seat options and two pictures of frames under the seats. I have seats and the frame that is attached directly to the bottom of the seat. I'm in need ideas/pictures for frames to mount the seats to the tub.

I changed my seats out to 2002 Celica ones. I did use the brackets from the original seats however.
We could meet up somewhere if you'd like to see what I conjured up. No welding was done for this

I just went from non OEM seats back to original seats. The brackets for the driver side was missing so I just made some out of steel plate for the front and 1.5" sq tubing in the rear of the seat. You could do the same for after market seats.
Here are my seats. I purchased the tube style seat brackets from the seat maker, and joined both sides together with a 1.5" square tube frame, thus giving me a place to mount my tuff box between the seats.

I ordered the pro car ralley seats but I imagine they would work with other buckets as well. These bracket part no's are for newer cruisers and did not fit mine but when I called Summit they were able to reorder the correct part number
